Spiderwire Ultracast Fluro at 10# is without a doubt the best line Ive EVER used on cranks! Wayy better hooksets than I had with braid.

Im actually looking for a combo that I will use for flippin and pitchin. And I noticed Shimanos are on ALOT of combos so I figured Id do a little studying up on them.

Really? No anti-reverse? Well if thats the case Ill go with a Sedona. Unless I can find another cheap spinning combo somewhere

Definitlay the Supreme! I have the Supreme XT and it is the lightest, smoothest and best looking reel I have ever owned. You wont regret it!

I considered getting a Sahara to go with my Veritas but after talking to a few people and comparing the 2 reels, the Phlueger Supreme XT was definitaly the better choice IMO. Its alot lighter than the Sahara but it is a bit more money. And it also has 10 bearings!

Went into Gander Mt. on black friday and picked up the Veritas in 6'6 M. Im gonna use it for spinning and lipless cranks. Only things I an really saw about it are.. -Lighter than air -Stronger than steel -And it looks sexier than....sexy I have it matched up with a Phlueger Supreme XT Its easily the lightest set up Ive ever held. It was easily worth the $100(plus it came with a $20 gift card to Gander Mt.) If your looking to pick up a new rod I HIGHLY reccomend looking into the Veritas!

My Rapala baby bass lipless rattler is one of my top producing lures! I even caught a 8in northern pike on it on accident haha!

Same with me too. I have quite a few jigs but I just cant seem to get the big hits everybody talks about with them. And my hula popper. For some reason I havnt ever had any luck with it.

Well after overcoming my fear of the palomar knot, Im ready to start using drop shots but I had a few questions.. What size drop shot hook is the best? What kind of lure do you use? I have a brand new pack of 3" Berkley grubs that I have laying around. Where do you throw it at?(lilys...banks..etc.) HOW do you fish it? Slow..fast? What about line? Ive been using fluro alot latley. Would that be ok? And lastly how heavy of a weight do you use? I guess thats a bit more than a few questions..but any help would be great. Thanks guys!! 8-)

Is say at the moment its come down to either the Vendetta, Veritas or the Excel. I suppose it will just come down to which one has the best good review:bad review ratio. But man does the look alone of the Abu Garcias make me wanna buy one. But looks can be deceiving huh?

Yea I know. Its just that I dont have the money to buy two rods for different lures. Until then, Ill just have to make do with one. I was looking into the.. Abu Garcia Vendetta and the Veritas Berkley Lightning Shock St. Croix Mojo Bass But I have read some pretty good things about the suggested rods so I might look a bit more into them as well.

Ive been looking into getting a split grip rod but Im having a hard time deciding which one? Im looking for something no more than $100 and it will be used mainly as a plastic worm/lipless crank rod. Any help would be awesome! Thanks guys!
