I love the swimming action of the Net bait paca chunk and have not yet tried the Strike king rage chunk. Any ideas on what you like better? I have read a ton of great stuff about the Strike king rage chunks.

What size and brand should I replace the cheap bandit crankbait hooks for?

Does anyone know what Crankbait Ken Cook was using agaisnt Andy Morgan in Ultimate Match Fishing? It was the blue back chart. sexy looking shad colored one? Thanks!

Thats funny im always sneeking in the house with a big ole bag of lures, now the wife just smiles and shakes her head. But she often gets me back when she goes to the mall. Do you know of any places that still have them for $8.00?

I'm going to pick a few up soon and check them out. Seems like people who paint custom cranks are always paiting these. I was throwing a spro little john in the fall and really liked how that felt on rocks/hard bottom areas in the shallows so I didnt mess with to many other styles. So I never got a chance to pick a 1.5 up. I also threw the KVD square bill a little but didn't get to really mess with it allot. One thing I could tell is it really does have a hunting action, and did well in wooded areas as far as deflection goes.

Anyone throw this bait often? Is it worth $15? Seems as if once someone gets over paying the money for one they love them...

If you custom paint lures and sell them please post a pic of your work below. I am looking on purchasing a few lures but do not have time to look through every thread. I have looked at a few pages on here and there are some very talented painters who post on this board! To make it fun even if you don't sell them but you have a favorite custom painted lure that you fish often or collect post it. Thanks

Bait caster "fishes in trees" Went out for 10 hours Saturday on the River threw the 1/4 ounce jig allot on a 6'6 All-Star rod MH fast tip and a STX Abu Garcia reel, but didn't get a single bite that I could feel (This is just a set up I already had). I liked the sensitivity in the All-Star rod but I still felt like I couldn't feel my bait like I should have. I was using 12lb fluro. I will be checking out some of these rods you all have posted on very soon. Caught 2 fish on a dropshot and 2 fish on the trusty ole shaky head. Tuff day rain and water temps in the high 40's. Thanks again for all the information.

I am looking to buy some good rain gear, the Wal-Mart set is no longer doing the job on 8 hour fishing days. Is the 100 MPH BPS Gore-Tex parka and fleece worth the $358.00 plus $200 for the bibs? If not what are you guys using on rainy/windy days to stay warm and dry? Also just found out my boots really aren't rain proof..haha

Would like to keep it under at $250, but I often never stay in that price range I set for myself. I am mainly interested in a good Rod for the 1/4 jig. I have a ton of reels I can use. But would still like to here what others are using for this set up if they throw it allot.
