Thanks...The plastic is pretty soft to give the bait a natural look in the water, but its strong enough to put on a 1/8 scrounger head and swim / skip it around. If I am not using it as a dropshot bait this is what I will do.

If you get a chance check out the FLW outdoors magazine. I have been impressed by it lately. They cover the FLW trail of course but they also have great articles. And even when they cover the trail they often go into good detail on how the event was won.

I throw a 1/8 ounce shaky head on a stx baitcaster 7'0 M action rod and I always used izorline. My order for izorline will not be here in time for the weekend...What is another 8lb test that someone has used often and has had good success with? Thanks!

Insane looking! If I fished these baits I would have to bring some scuba gear with me, so I could go get any lure that was hung up. Great work as always!

Love this little dude! I still cant get over the one I lost. It ran great I caught a ton of fish on it. But didnt check my line and it went flying in the woods on the next cast. I like the micro chip bill on it.

"Welcome to Earth" I even had to laugh at that one, I knew I had sene this hawg before but I couldnt put my finger on it, and it was driving me nuts. Time for bed!

This is "Dottie", she weighed a little over 25 pounds and would have been the new world record but she was hooked on the outside of the mouth. She was released and found dead some time later. Largest bass ever caught. Just found my own answer... I knew I had sene this Bass before.

Anyone know how much this one weighed?

11 Inch Worm

I like my 580's allot but one thing I really find to be a pain is they dont have a fog resistant lens. When you first take them out of the case sometimes they will fog up on you, until they become the temp of your face. And if you do allot of cold water fishing and have a full face mask on as you breathe the hot air from your breath will make them fog us as well. Actually this is a major pain! Oakley has fog resistant Len's but I dont link how allot of there frames dont cover the bottom of the lenses. I found out that with out the frame covering the bottom of the lens, when fishing in a boat the glare shines off the water and will come up through the bottom of the glasses. I highly recommend trying them on before you make a purchase, all of there frames have a different fit and feel.

Thanks Paul I like the idea behind the study. Not sure if this answers anything you may be thinking about, but as most people know and I have experienced first hand fishing pressure definitely plays a role on your catching rate. I use to sneek into this lake by my house that was off limits to fishing. I would catch fish every other cast it seemed like. But once they opened it to the public, the fishing got super hard. I think all the fish pulled off the banks from all the pressure. Even now when I see the fish schooling in packs to feed they will not come shallow. I really think this has to do with all the people beating the banks to death. I think they become custom to what is going on and adapt to it. The only time I see fish shallow on this lake now is during the spawn. And even when they are on there beds, they wont strike like most fish that are not seeing people everyday.
