Question On Presque Isle
Hello all. I am headed to Presque this weekend and was wondering if they are still deep? I would suspect with the cooler temps and big winds of late, it may have pushed them a bit closer to shore. Any help would be great. I thank you in advance. BB67

Ray Scott Called Me This Morning!
Mr. Scott asked me to be diligent on this and to keep it public until a polygraph is given. He feels more needs to be done.

I Know I Did The Right Thing As A Co-Angler
Why hasn't B.A.S.S. done more with this? I told them I would pay for the polygraphs and they have done nothing. Trip Weldon called me Saturday and asked me to get the email I sent Chris Bowes notarized. When I told him I would do it on Monday as there was nothing open, he said okay. He then called me on Sunday and said not to bother. It was then that I asked him why, if Nate was found guilty enough to be put on probation and fined wasn't he disqualified on day three? He said he couldn't comment. He is the main person who can and needs to comment. I really think Nate made a horrible mistake and I wish it would have never happened. It did. He tried to cheat and now gets to fish the biggest tournament in bass fishing. I know I said I wanted this to end,but the more that I hear about it (via the internet) and the more people I talk to,the fact that this guy is fishing the Classic really bothers me.B.A.S.S. is trying to let this die quietly without doing what is right. I am not going to let that happen

I Know I Did The Right Thing As A Co-Angler
The last time he asked me for the fish was while we were waiting to weigh in at BPS.(our fish were still in the live wells of the boat) The other times were on the lake. As I have said before...He was not joking and YES I am sure he was not pulling my leg.

I Know I Did The Right Thing As A Co-Angler
As many of you have heard there was an incident at the BASS open in Sandusky, Ohio. I was offered $1,000.00 dollars for a fish and was told by my "pro" how I was going to be paid and how "we" could go out to the middle of the lake to put the fish in his livewell. There was no signing of papers after the tournament and I called BASS on my way home to tell them about the infraction or at least let them know how I felt about the situation. I have been called everything from a "tool" to a "snitch",yet I feel I did the right thing. I had absolutely no reason to lie about this and I actually got along with my pro even telling him I would net my own fish so he could spend more time fishing. Just the offer really bothered me and made me wonder if he had done it before.Perhaps even in this tournament on the previous days. So, that is it from a member of this forum. I hope that if you are in a similar situation and have to make the right choice (albeit the difficult one)you do what is right in your heart and are able to look at the man in the mirror without regret.

Took Mom Out For Mothers Day.
Hello all. I took my Mom out this past Sunday and had a great time catching some smallies. The jerk-bait bite was on and we caught most of them that way. We also used the drop shot when things slowed down. All in all it was a great day with 96 smallmouth caught and released. Here is a pic of Moms first one of the day. I really have to give her credit. She is sixty and stayed out there for almost twelve hours. No doubt where I got the fishing bug from.

Quest for the 7 pound Smallmouth
My personal best is 8.3.(cheap scale) I caught her on Erie in the Fall of 2002.23" and a 19" girth. I have been fortunate to catch a 7 or better every year since. I had a 6.14 at the FLW out of Presque Isle and didn't even win big fish. I had 21 pounds in that tournament and it was a four fish limit. If you don't follow the crowd you will get one Trying to find the pic now.

Summer fishing St. Claire?
It will be in late July. We were up there last summer and the first day of fishing our buddy was struck and killed by lightning. We are going back to fish a memorial get together.

Summer fishing St. Claire?
I will be at St. Claire at least two times this year. Once in the Spring and once in the Summer. In the summer, what should I be targeting? I fish Erie a lot but, St. Claire is not Erie and the depths are just not there. I would assume find deep water but, I am not able to find deep water that produces. Thank you in advance.
