Some times banks have a hard time giving personal loans because they have no collateral. A boat or car loan is easier to get cause they have something to take if you default. But I would do what RW says if you can get approved.

At my local lake everyone has been fishing dropshot rigs and doing fairly well. I would like to try it this weekend but only have a basic understanding of how to set it up. Is it a rig you cast and retrive? How far off the weight should the plastic be? Worms or flukes? How has it worked for you? Things like that. Thanks ;D Bryce.

How do you approach a drop off? I have a drop off that I know is holding fish, and I plan on spending an 8 hour tournament, sitting on it. How would you fish it when you have all day to find what the fish want? Thanks

Loc-tite sells a good gel super glue. I dont have a problem with it cause its a gel and doesent run all over the place. Its a little more expensive at 4.50 for a half Oz.

You ever think of geting a float tube? They are great for ponds like the one pictured. You can strap it to your back and they are pretty light. And you can get into alot of tight places a boat couldnt. I used one for about three years till I could afford a small boat.

I was looking for a map of "Lake Isabella" but I hapened to find a marina when I got thair that had them for ten bucks. It helped alot we fished some chanels and got three about 3-4 lbs and a bunch of dinks. Thanks all of you guys for your help. I am now much more confident using this tool to rule out unproductive water, before I even get my boat in the water. Now im looking for maps of all the local lakes I fish regularly. I would definitly suggest picking up maps of your local hot spots if you dont already. ;D

I tryed that one and it gives me the surrouning area of the lake but not the bottom countour. Any other sugestions(sp)? Thanks.

Im planing a last min trip to a new lake (new to me) this weekend a few counties away, and I am looking for a topo map to make up a game plan. Does anybody know a website I can download them from? Or do I have to wait till I get thair and try to find one? Thanks for the help, as allways ;D

The boat in the pictures looks like a decent boat. As long as the motor runs good I would say go for it. I would try to get the person selling it down on the price a little so you could put some money in it to make it look a little better. Throw a coat of paint on it and install a deck and you got yourself a nice little bass boat. ;D
