  1. The new one that just happend at my Inlaws we were sitting at the table Noah was next to my little niece kaylie and he had his play phone he's sitting there talking saying "pick up me pick up me" so we asked him Noah who ya talking to and he replied my girl friend so we laughed and aske him who his gf was and his answer was " torrie duh" so he thinks Victoria justice from the nick show is his gf. Well kaylie took his phone pretending to talk to this torri and said "sorry but he's taken you can't see him anymore" handed the phone back to Noah and he just turned to her and said "you bit....." you get the point it was funny as hell.
  2. Unfortunately Noah has a potty mouth the other day he called his cousin Ryan who's 18 a d-bag but he said the full word. Then Xmas morning he opened a present seen it was a diego back pack and not a nerf gun droped it and said " efin a" which his mother says all the time it's cute at first little kids swearing but then gets idk embarrassing in public.
  3. Well my 2 year old Noah says lots of crazy things but this morning I think he toped himself. Me and my 2 boys were watching tv letting mommy sleep in when the youngest jack started to fuss and me lacking the right equipment to feed him took him in to my wife. Noah followed in shortly after and the he opens his mouth and says " wow mommy you got BIG boobieeeeesssssss" it was hilarious my wife didn't know what to do she started grabbing blankets and covering up well I was high fiveing Noah it was a great. I love the things that boy says.

  5. They were my clutch bait this year when I couldent get bit and was gonna get skunked. I pitch em swim em(great sunnie imitator) and use em on jigs all worked great for me towards the end I riged on a grass jig with out a skirt and split the tail the river smallies destroyed it.

That sucks it sucked my wife really wanted to see it she loves horses.
  7. Iv been watching all the midway USA videos on YouTube and want to get into some at home gunsmithing projects. I have 2 old .22s I wanna try sone things on. I have a old Winchester 69a from 1937 with Lyman micrometer peep sights I'm thinking of reblueing it, jeweling the bolt, checkering the stock, free floating the barrel and glass beding the stock. The other gun is a glennfield(marlin) 25(80) that one I just wanna tap the receiver for newer scopemounts instead of the old dovetail design and the free float and bed the action. The only thing that has me nervous is bedding the actions it seams easy but I'm worried the magazine well will fill up and I don't wanna put a mag in it and get stuck or ruined. Everything can be done easy at home though should make some fun projects and some already nice guns nicer to hand down to my sons in later years. Anyone else here dab into gunsmithing wether professionally or as a hobby.
  8. I don't have one yet the wife was talking bout it again tonight bout getting one paired with a Villan for my weightless fluke set up. She was talking bout my late Xmas present next year sense Im leaving for Kuwait in exactly a month I'll be gone for a year.
  9. All I can say is wow I was out doing some last minute Xmas shopping with the wife and got my hands on one pairedwith a 7'6 mh veritas. Light doesn't even describe this thing it's it's idk can't think of a word to describe it. Even my wife loved it she said she would get me one for when I get back from Kuwait.

  12. My 8lber PB came 2 summers ago bank fishing. I hit the spot right infront of the parking lot soon as I got there. I was walking around and had a snagproof boss rat tied on when I seen what I thought was a decent carp mulling around in the grass about 6th off the bank in a foot of water. I casted well past the "carp" at the time to the stump and Lilly pads. As I brought the mouse past the dark blob it just exploded all in an instant i thought that's it a carp set the hook and dragged it onto the bank in one sweep. I just looked down at a heap of grass with a piece of tail hanging out I started to pick the grass around it and then I seen that head and mouth I went totally Ike passing boats were looking as I was freaking out. It was so fat and big made that big rat like like a baby mouse in it's mouth. I had a passing stranger take a pic with my phone. I haven't had luck at that lake sense.
  13. That recipie is amazing make it how he has it only change the pepper to taste I like alot. My 2 year old loves it my students love it and offer to buy it off me. That recipie and my spike have got me a few hundred dollars in steel for some projects as well. It's that good I just let it maranaid 1 to 2 days then 4-5hrs in the dehydrator depending on thickness.
  14. Springfield armory and e r shaw custom rifles I can't look at my dream guns on my iPhone lol. But original subject go iPhone u won't regret it
  15. Yeah tried that the kiosks at the local walmart are ghetto and it dint work like it should we usually just send them to our galaxy tab then take the card out of that and print them.
  16. Iv had both droid phones and an iPhone I stuck with the iPhone over the droid. Yeah apps cost more but there's free ones even if it's not jailbroken but what made me like the iPhone over droids is that my iPhone works flawlessly never freezes never slow. Those with droids how many times do u have to do a hard reset on your droid or have apps suck and screw up your phone not an issue with the iPhone. The only thing I don't like about the iPhone is I can't get on some sites that require flash and I can't upload photos from it to this site. Oh one other thing is the no sd card so I can't print pics off of my boys at walmart like I could with the droids. Other then them 2 small issues the iPhone is great.
  17. Ok this may sound dumb but what presentation do you use like in bass fishing there's variant retrieves and jigging and what not. Now how do u present a fly just cast and then what let it drift? do I add split shots to get it down a little. I'm goin out tuesday for trout.
  18. Yeah I'm a SDM in my squad and shoot my M4 out to 800m I know the round will reach out and touch some one I just don't see it for deer I think he's gonna lose deer maybe if he went up in bullet gr
  19. I'm aware most states have a minimum caliber iv also explained this to them but he's old and very stubborn and has the mentality if it's only illegal if u get caught. We almost came to blows last year when I told him he couldn't put his stock on the gun making it a rifle with a 14" barrel a big no no on 2 levels no rifles in our county just shot gun or pistol and rifles can't be under 16". I told him i wouldent hunt with him if he took it out like that.
  20. Does any one use it I personally don't and never will but me and my father in law and nephew have been in a long debate for over a year on the subject. They think a 62gr bullet will drop a deer to the shoulder or neck. I'm sure it will but not efficiently or humanly the ballistics just arnt there. My father in law wants a do all barrel for his contender some thing for plinking, chucks, yotes, and deer. Originally he wanted the 7.62x39 because of all the ammo he has for the sks but we read alot of cases of the frame stretching/breaking on the old G2 contenders which he has he got it in the 70s I think he said. I told him get a .243 or .308 but he doesn't like the price of ammo and he's to lazy to reload even though we have everything to do it for .243 and .357 the barrel he currently is using. Idk I'm just wondering what your guys thoughts are on it I know it will drop a deer heck a .22lr will but placement has to be spot on there is no room for error.
  21. They will never understand the only way my wife does is if the stuff was on sale I dont understand it she's fine with spending $100 if I got it out of a clearance bin but gives me he'll if I spend $20 on full price items? Gets me but I have it figured out when we walk in I go to the kids section look at clothes for the boys then shoes and clothes for her then lay onthe honey can we go to the fishing section real quick. Works every time especially with our oldest he gets as exited as me grabbing lures and sponge bob poles asking for them.
