Yeah that's what I was thinking the trout up here arnt no little dainty 1 ta 2 pounders u see in little streams on tv. I don't think iv seen many under 5lbs and that's a dink. I do know the guy got the set up as a present a few years back had it set up and got everything for fishing the oak and johnsons by Orleans outdoors the local flyshop. Fly patterns I have are some wooly buggers a few streamers then some little nymph looking flys bead and cone head style. Then I have some egg/roe patterns. How do you detect a bite though with a fly it's slack usually isn't it and I'd imagine the strikes arnt no brute slam like bass and pike. I seen yarn indicators but I'd be clueless on set up or use of it.

There's a fly shop down the road I have a bunch of flies I got with the set up I traded my old arse snowboard for the combo about 50flies 6 packs of leaders from 6# to 12# in flouro and mono. Plus the set up is brand new never used I'd look into lessons but I have a good friend and that all he does is fly fish for everything freshwater so I'm gonna have him show me the ropes hopefully if he gets some time off work. I'm probably honestly gonna use it mostly for bass and carp though not a big trout guy but I wanna try this week or next.

I live a stones throw from lake Ontario with 2 great rivers loaded with big browns and steelhead and some salmon are being reported at the dam. I called the fishing hotline and they said the brown trout fishings the best it's been in 15 years.

I just picked up a redington fly rod combo with a bunch of leader/tippets and flys it's. 8wt rod so it should be good for trout and bass I'd think. I'm new to it and never have fly fished with a fly rod closest iv came is an UL and 2lb test. From what I have read it seams trick but easy any pointers to help the learning curve. I'm gonna be targeting browns, bows and steelies for right now in this weather and season bass and others will come later.

Haha im the same way my credit is crap last I checked it was a 621 when I got approved for my Capitol one card last month. My account only had like 70 bucks in it they took 58.76 we had just paid rent and bills other wise more woulda been ther to take. The rest of our "spending" money is cash because it makes my wife think twice befor handing over money when it's cash where a card u never see the cash value so to speak u just swipe it and go.

Yup just happened to me. Been going around here with bank debit cards I first heard bout it last week and it was 2 other banks and I joked haha glad I don't bank with the big chains I keep it small and local. Well my account wa a bit off so I went to the bank to see where it went and I'm now in Tampa taking out money of ATMs at 7/11. It was only 60 dollars luckily I caught it and froze my account in time.

Lights are a great asset when used correctly I have a sure fire for my M4 or what ever the army so chooses to give me as a weapon. I'd mount one on a HD weapon if I owned one but I don't. If your walking around shunning the light then yeah u make a target and give away ur position but say ur in a hall way pitch black intruder coming in or other way around ur kicking in the door and u hit that light you blind everyone on the recieving end and disorintate them and u can either give en 2 in the chest 1 in the head or go non lethal and take it to the groin if close enough. Lasers are also great if in a hurry u can from the waist activate get laser center mass and pop pop fights over.

One of the guys I went to basic with Spc Dwight at the time was offered to go and do this or at least attempt I think there's a board or selection process but he declined it. If it was ever offered to me I'd take it up in a instant. Iv done a few honor guard services for funerals and just that's nuts making your uniform absolutely perfict.

Normally I love living out in the sticks exept for tonight when it's 12am and my wife realizes that she's out of wipes for the baby and the pack in the diaper bag are at her parents. There are no gas stations open no stores nothing instead I gotta drive all the way to the closest super walmart dead tired ready for bed. It's a half hour drive one way.

I seen an episode of in fisherman and they had a segment on jogging for smallies threw ice they used just a finese jig and a ice rod for like walleye just go slow I'd imagine. Maki plastics are amazing I seen em in ation last year then found out the guy who makes em a teacher where I work just in a satellite school 20 minutes down the road from my school. I'd pick some up for ice fishing for anything.

I would get the wife shooting it so she knows how to manipulate the weapon and then there won't be no droping or getting knocked over

this makes #2 for me this year got lucky shook like crazy and missed 4 doe so far but everything with horns has droped. i shot this one behind me spun around threw a tiny tiny hole in some thick vines cuz he seen me turn around to see what the noise was but u just waited till i seen him in the lane and squezzed one off and he floped right there.

No it has a brow tine the broke off 2 inches up the main beam all of them are like this. Mine though even all the other tines are busted and shorter then they should be. It's kinda disappointing but he's HUGE bodied easy 220+ dressed just gigantic.

I droped a buck today I thought was a giant to find it to be a half rack. This is the 4th half rack shot outa this woods in 2 years there all the same basic frame look identical just slightly bigger or smaller. Do you think maybe there bad genes in the rack making them weak it's all the right side main beam snapping off.

One of my students just got a job in north Dakota on an oil rig or something idk how believable it is but it's what he says.

My 1st Sgt is from stafford and drives here to ny every other week or so he loves it there other then all the marines he says lol.

I have thought of this extensively and what I WAS gonna do and stay in New York fixing Blackhawks or Chinooks. Recent events have kinda turned me away from this I guess it will depend on how and if this deployment to Kuwait goes.
