I just got my stand up today on my father in laws land first chance iv had all year still got 3 weeks till season opens though. I only get 10 days this year to hunt then I'm going to the Afghanistan.

I don't buy into the whole hone defense craze but I'd say a shot gun. U dont need to know a whole lot to make it operate and u don't have to be a marksman to hit some thing/one. The rifle could be great if u practice alot and are good at CQB to be precise and hit your target. Pistol well there great to if u know how to use it and practice and are proficient with it. I'd hate to be the guy who goes to grab my pistol and forget to rack it or manipulate the safteys because of the pressure and stress. U could kill all birds with one so to speak get a taurus judge get the buck and ball loads and u have a pistol that hoots buck shot an a slug like a rifle all in one. A shot gun rackin in the dark is also a scary noise and deturant alone I'd think twice befor pushing further into a house if I heard that. Why not just get a big ole rott or Doberman lol

I use a walmart special for panfish a shakespear micro graphite 5'6 light action with an old shimano Sedona besides that one I use a 1'6 spongebob pole when my 2 yearold decides he'd rather use mine then his. Seriously though u dont need a special expensive set up for perch simply a UL or L rod wilbe more then enough.

If there gonna pay for it who cares or even half that's a huge chunk and be thankful I put myself threw college at 18 no help from mom or dad what so ever im still paying it of 6 years later I went to a 1 year tech school cost me 32k for 12mo. But don't think your a burden on them your there son.

Go ROTC in the guard that will ake care of the money issue

It's honestly a smart idea to go community college first save some cash getting the easy mandatory classes done that will be no different if ur at a big name school or a community school get them knocked out then transfer credits that's what both of my sisters did the went to community school there first 2 years then went to marry mount later saved alot of money that way. Then what grundle said if u can get into a tech field or trade your set not saying other jobs arnt set either but jobs are usually easier to find in a tech or trade and there not gonna get out sourced like all these other fields that were losing to other country's and what not.

There are alot of options for money I mean alot idk what u would want to major in but some fields have specific scholarships per the field. It's still early in the school year take this time to buckle down and make things happen. What ever you do don't get senioritis thats the problem I have with most my class every year some really bright kids get that lazy I'm an adult now crap and tick the grades away and end up doing more harm then they realize. Just have faith and keep at it and don't give up where there's a will there's a way.

Ditto but only had it a few weeks almost everyone in my platoon has iPhones we take them out in the field and none are broke a few don't even have cases on them I beat the he'll out of mine. Now just yesterday a HTC fell the length of te phone just tipped over and it shattered te screen that's the probably 5th HTC phone break at a drill.
