Any Luck In Upstate Ny?
I wanna get out on silver in the next coming weeks in the kayak see if I can't keep up with some these guys in the month long tournaments putting up 18-20" fish and I'm in a 16-17" fish slump I can't seem to break out of.

Dragonfly 4 pro
Strongly leaning towards getting the dragonfly 4 with navionics for my kayak. Anyone have any experience with it? I've heard some say they have issues but that's all been from guys who don't have the unit everyone who has it seems to love it and those with issues said their customer service was top notch.

Warning its gross, What happens when I forget sunscreen for 5 hours.
I had worse about two months ago soon as I got to Cincinnati for a job. Not a cloud in the sky 90* out and k was standing on a concrete pad cutting FRP(fiberglass) I beams and C channel with nothing to blow off the dust. The glass like intensified the sun or something my arms were blistered over every square inch. When end fishing I either wear UA fishing shirts like mentioned above or my Columbia PFG shirts. They look hot but are actually cool. I also wear a buff over my face from salt armour.

Kayak Anglers: Let's See Your Crates!!!!
I've got a old school milk crate also I suppose I'll go take a pic of it in a little bit. I'm in the process of designing one now after work I've got one side of it done the rest have all been trial and error for thickness and durability. Making one out of Kevlar with tinted resin to make it look like carbon fiber. Best part is it's free other then my time after work.

Kayak Suggestions: Creeks/Shallow Rivers, long distance multi-Day Trips.
I took the commander out at paddle fest back in May I'm a little undecided on it. I like it and don't like it at the same time. I have been been taking my ATAK down some super shallow creeks this week without the seat attached basically a paddleboard. I'm gonna add the anchor trolley kit and a stake out pole so I can leave my paddle behind and it will be just about perfect for the trips. Only down side is the ATAKs size in the little creeks if I get turned broad side it's to long to really turn well with out doing a 3 point turn or getting out and man handling it around.

Kayak Suggestions: Creeks/Shallow Rivers, long distance multi-Day Trips.
Look into a perception pescador 120pro can be had fairly cheap and they are a great little boat. I'm on the wildy prostaff and perception is one of the sister companies. At a demo day we sold out of them on the first day I put a few bigger guys out on one they all loved it were able to stand up even. I messed around with a coosa over the weekend as well very slick boat as well but I think they may be a bit out of the price range I'm not sure though. Another option is the ride 115 can be picked up used fairly cheap also.

kayakers, how do you transport your boat?
I do this also did it with my ocean kayak big game and now with my ATAK. I cut it I half put one section on the roof set kayak on it then pick up the back end and walk to the truck. The kayak rolls ontop of the noodle to the front Then I just out one under the back end and ratchet her down

Best Current Big Man Kayak ?
Another thing to consider also is the seat on the ATAK can slide back and forth to position yourself in the kayak for best balance.

Best Current Big Man Kayak ?
If allready looking at the big rig look into a wilderness systems ATAK. I put some pretty big guys out on one during a demo event that all loved it. It's rated at 550lb capacity also.

Got my new kayak this weekend
It's been an addiction I've been kayak bass fishing for going on 4 years now. I had a big game prowler sold that when I got picked up by the wildy pro staff team and ordered the ATAK.

Kayak Buying Advice
Look for a wilderness systems ride 115 or 135. Great stable boats easily can stand in them but once standing foot room is a little limited. If you can find a good sale or one used check out the wilderness ATAK you can definitely stand in it and move around quite a bit the thing is a floating dock.

Got my new kayak this weekend
Got my new kayak this weekend since I've been picked up by the wildy team to rep in WNY. Went with the ATAK in sonar tested it out today in 20mph winds with 35mph gusts. Didn't handle to bad at all I love it.

Airpro max seat
I get my ATAK tomorrow but when I was working paddlefest I was paddling the ride 115 max angler and an ATAK with some customers asking how the seat worked but didn't want to try it on the water but wanted to know if it can be done. I changed from hi to low to recline all while seated and also by standing up turning around making the adjustment and then sitting back down.

Perception Pescador Pro Reviews?
I want to say the one I worked was like 15% off. the seat reminds me of like a beach chair or turkey blind chair. It's wide and comfortable. You definitely won't be disappointed in the kayak all together though. The one we had was colored pretty slick to green and red swirl with bright orange bungees.

Perception Pescador Pro Reviews?
Don't own one but I demoed one a few weeks ago when working paddlefest and they are awesome little budget kayaks. I stood up in it shook it side to side couldn't tip it. Put potential customers in it told them the same they all tested it and loved it. I'm considering one for a back up or loaner for my buddies that want to tag along.

River Kayak Spec recommendation
Ride 115 is a great river boat. I'm about to buy one as a back up/loaner/river boat. I'm waiting for my ATAK at the moment which I'll use on some of the rivers by me.

Memorial Day Murph
Pretty impressive to knock it out in under an hour. I did cross fit for a few months not my cup of tea but I'm with blue I would die from 300 squats then running another mile. Those who don't know who Michael Murphy is read or watch lone survivor better to read it though as it goes much more in depth about him then the movie has time to. There's also a documentary about him as well I believe.

Should I get a jon or a fishing kayak?
Depending on your budget exactly I would look into a perception pescador 100 or 120. Great little budget kayak about 50lbs so easily car topped and carried to launch site. Tracks well and is stable enough to stand on and fish as well. They were selling at paddle fest the other week for 705 for the 120 and 640 for the 100.
