My two gen 3 STXs are going south on me also. When pressing the thumb to disengage the spool it doesn't want to pop back when I go to reel it's a pain since its on my frog and jog set ups where I get bit on the fall or shortly after hitting the water. Gotta sit there and play with it to get it to work again so I can reel.

Tied for first in the regional and the guy I'm tied with won already.

I've upgraded the gun to night vision and some hand loaded Berger 35gr

Anyone here qualify for the national championship this year and going? I'm on the bubble of qualifying the way the NY series is ran is backwards if you ask me so I'm not qualified yet. I'm also in 2nd for the regional challenge this month and the guy ahead of me has already won a slot so it should roll down to me if I maintain 2nd but I want first. Our series does top three from state champion gets slots then the other two go to AOY points I think it should be the other way around. I'm 12 points from the cut on AOY which is only a event win away with two events left for the season.

Custom rod I built two years ago

Anyone ever get a double on a Texas rig? Managed it a few days ago and blew my mind. One hook two fish, my guess was the bigger bass tried to eat the little bass not so much the bait since it was so far in the smaller ones mouth. Hook came out the gill plate and hooked the bigger one.

This month my top 5 from there are 19.5, 19.5, 19.75, 19, and 17.75

I fished it a few weeks ago did decent around the island and absolutely nothing up otter creek. That's all I fished I wasn't there long. Levels are probably like everything else in the area and low. I can swing by today or tomorrow and let ya know I drive by on my way home from work

Anyone here kayak fish? I'm heading up the WNY chapter for KBF with a few events left for the season. Oak orchard next week and lake Alice in September. On another note anyone fish the quarry on mountain road in gasport I've heard a lot of good things about it I've been twice to scope it out the last time I went there were some people swimming and a couple small boats out there fishing. With me taking this job in Lockport I might make it a stop on my way home some days.

I work in a fiberglass shop I drill and cut fiberglass for a living. If worried about chipping start small and work way up or use a uni bit. Other wise just drill the hole

I'm about to take a new job in Lockport which will be closer to some of all your guys spots. Closer to Erie or grand island for sure. Ive checked out the bond lakes years and years ago but never fished them.

Yeah I had that cart also it kept collapsing on me all the time when under a load.

The ride 115 is a great boat, like mentioned before wildy makes perception kayaks check out the pescador pro 120 it's definitely in your budget and one heck of a boat. Like J Francho said also a used commander will do well also. I would suggest though going and test paddling each kayak and every brand also. Even though I'm on the wilderness prostaff I would still suggest check out some of the competitions boats paddle both wildy and Jackson or what ever brand and then make your decision. You could always wait till January and I'll be selling a ATAK 140 I'll give you a good deal haha, I'm upgrading to the radar and or the ATAK 120

I had a kid walk into my truck today o watched the kid cross the parking lot while I was on my kayak and never look up from his phone and walk right into the front of my truck. Only safe to assume he was hunting Pokemon.

Yeah I have done well there in the past but seem to be having a funk this year there with dinks only. My PB came from that lake at 8-8. Kayak friendly because you went on a weekday the weekends that lake is a mad house with jet skiers and tubers and such. If you can make it to kenyonville bridge the west side of the bridge is usually safe from the drunks its shallow on that end of the lake.
