  1. You should join a bass club and I recommend that you fish with as many different members as you can. Not only will they teach you how to fish, but they will teach you fishing etiquette that would take you years and much frustration to learn. I also urge you to join a different club every year as some clubs are fun clubs and some are not. Find one that suits you. I couldn't find a fun club in my area, so I formed my own in 1987 and it still exists today.
  2. Probably about once a week starting mid May depending on the water color. If it's not muddied up the bite will be phenomenal as it is every year. Come down and have yourself a 30 or 40 fish day. Bring plenty of white spinner baits, the giant Muskies like to take them home with them.
  3. Good morning and thank you for the welcome message. I am from Michigan and at the moment it is 10 degrees with close to a foot of snow. Lakes Erie and St. Clair are my playground. I organized a small local bass club in 1987 which has 20 + members and is still currently in operation. I have also fished many tournaments in other clubs including GM Pro Bass and Bass'ntario in Canada. I'm not a braggart by any means but it states that I should tell you about my fishing experience. I love bass fishing most of all but I have won walleye tournaments on the Detroit River, all species tournaments and the one and only Crappie tournament I fished on Rice Lake in Ontario. If anyone would like to contact me, I can be reached at sily_wabbit@yahoo.com - No spam or advertisements please, I won't even read them before I delete them and you may end up in my spam box.
