Lake Fork Hyper Worm
Picked up a pack yesterday, seeing if anyone has had any luck on them if so, how do you rig them and how do you fish them? I'm going out tonight to see if I can get any luck on a tricky pond nearby.

Favorite Frog
X2. I like it in green, black and red, and natural red.

Zoom Baits!
I love Zoom baits. Baby Brush hog is my go to. I like it in green pumpkin. I've also grown fond of the super fluke. I use that in watermelon red flake fished weightless on a 3/0 hook.

Carolina Rigs?
It keeps you in contact with the bottom. It's good for when you need to keep your bait on the bottom, you can't always do that with a t-rig. It's also useful for figuring out bottom composition. Very slow technique. I just started using it this year. I enjoy it.

Colored Lines For Fishing Senkos
If the water is murky, the fish don't mind too much what your line looks like. When the water is clear is when it makes a difference. I use mono in dirty water, and flouro in clear water. Though I always have a flouro leader tied onto my braid.

These Storms In Va Have Been Messing The Fishing Up
We discovered the pond a long time ago but just recently started fishing it again. Very low pressure on the fish. It's tricky but we've caught some monsters.

Topwater Frogs
I have 2 spros now. I've had one for a year and the other I just bought. They were the same stiffness when I first got them. Now obviously the old one is soft and the new one is hard but for the most part I feel like they were the same when I first got them.

How To "walk" A Frog
That and trim about an inch off the legs of the frog. It helps it walk.

These Storms In Va Have Been Messing The Fishing Up
Great times the past 4 days. Caught some good fish. Here's a couple pics of one of my best friends. One was caught with a buzzbait last evening, the other a top water frog 2 days ago. Commonwealth represent

Topwater Frogs
The popping frogs are pretty sweet. I like them a lot. And you can still walk them. I find it's easier to trim the legs. Here's a pic of a top water frog catch, my best friend threw it to the spot, twitched it twice and wham.

Bottom Fishing
Carolina Rig. T-rig can work with enough weight. Jigs too. Read up on some old forum posts and articles. When I'm fishing the bottom I like to use a carolina rig, with a 1/2 weight. I've caught fishing using 6" lizards, brush hogs, and 10" worms. Use whatever plastics work well in your area, colors too. But those 3 baits I like the most. Keep contact with the bottom and move very slowly.

What Frogs Are Good For Fishing At Dusk?
Spro new popper frog. Black and red has done well for me. I bet the all black will too. Those are the only 2 colors they had the other day when I was at Gander so I got the black and red. It looks beast.

Topwater Frogs
Lately I've been using Spro popper frogs black and red and the yellow and green Spro Jr. Both have had some success. I find that lately every time I get out on the water no matter what time of day I have a frog on. I'm hooked. A friend of mine caught his first top water frog today. He was pretty stoked. I find that walking the frog is what gets a majority of my hits, walking it then pausing in what I think is the best strike zone. I'm not too hot on the buzz frogs, if I'm throwing into some deep slop then the hollow body does it for me, and if I can get away with retrieving the bait like that, I'd rather use a jitterbug or a buzzbait. But it's really all up to preference. Top water is a lot of fun. Too much fun. I may have to a hold an intervention for Squid Duck here because he neglects the rest of his baits now. It's just Ribbit frogs all day every day. And he fishes them so fast. It's insane. Good luck Squid Duck, I'll see you on the water.

What To Do When Someone Steals Your Spot?

The Big Ones
I've found this summer that my bigger bass have been in deeper water.

Baghdad Blues
I bought a BP pro qualifier the original gold colored one and it has been my best reel yet. Carrot stix I've heard to be very good. But I've never used them. I'm an Abu Garcia everything fan. I've rarely had a few upsets with their products. Having a couple rods is always handy. And if you get into tournament fishing well. 2-3 may not be enough. But that's how many I use and I'm pretty comfortable with it. I like to use Med. Hvy rods for just about anything unless I'm using lighter tackle then I use a Med spinning set up. Thank you for the service.

School And Bass Fishing: How Do You Do/manage Both?

Farm Pond/lakes Vs. Public Lakes/reservoirs
Wait til the winter time. I waited til this past Feb and got a 14ft Jonboat, 3hp motor, 30lb thrust troll. a battery, life vests, an anchor, minnow keeper, all on the trailer for $400. Steal of a lifetime. The off season is the best time to buy toys. Because no one wants one then because they can't use it. So I've found that toys are cheaper on the off season.

I'm Addicted
I have yet to try Rage Tails. I've been hooked on Zoom plastics and Spro frogs lately. I've never been too hard core into cranks, but lately my collection has been growing. I had to buy a bigger tackle box this season. She's a beefer. But I'm lovin' life and livin' large. Fishing is what keeps me going.

I'm Addicted

I'm Addicted
Over the past year and a half my interest for bass fishing has sky rocketed. If I'm not fishing, I'm thinking about fishing, if I'm not thinking about it, I'm asleep and I'm dreaming about it. I have an addiction. I'm constantly on the water whenever possible. And if I'm not on the water or at work well then I'm at home and on the computer. It's safe to say that 97% of the time I'm on the internet I'm on this website. Thanks all who made it and make it possible to use this site. And thanks to everyone who contributes to the information on this site. Best forum I've ever been to, and since I got here. I haven't looked for another one. Tight lines Gents.

Jig + Trailer For Small Bass Or Lizard
Jigs for me have caught fish in all ranges from big to small. I have caught more small ones on smaller plastics such as a 4" senko. But I've also caught some lunkers on the same bait.
