Ike #6 Hated Athlete
I am going to borrow my response from rapper 50 Cent. This is mildly edited of course, but I think it sums it up for us. JT Bagwell

Ike #6 Hated Athlete
I wish I was one of the top 10 most hated athletes. Can you imagine the amount of free press Ike is going to get because of this? This list will increase his name recognition by 1,000 times. Nice work Ike. JT Bagwell

Garage's
If your garage is over 23' deep it should fit. That is what the overall length is (per that link). My Triton barely fits in my garage (6"-8" to spare) and my garage is around 27' deep. JT Bagwell

A good company?
Mike, I am not sure what you are talking about. However, as we all know there is an exception to every rule. My previous comments were meant for the majority. JT Bagwell

A good company?
Holy cow dude, you might want to get a spell check. You are entitled to your opinion, but I do not agree with you on this one. For starters, "Most" tournament organizations will not let anglers under the age of 16 participate. Secondly, children under the age of 18 (in most states) are not permitted to enter into a legally binding contract (which is what a sponsorship contract is). With that being said, I revert back to my previous statement where I said young anglers need to build on their fishing skills and worry about sponsorships and other financial matters when it becomes an issue. It's not just you. I am sure Glenn is working on it though. (I hope) JT Bagwell

Tweaking a Triton TR21XDC
Glad we could be of some assistance. Just remember, Tritons like the jackplate set high. Having it lower will reduce the amount of Chine walk only because it greatly reduces your speed. If you set it high you will have to "drive" your Triton but you will see a lot more speed. Just be sure to keep a close eye on your H2O PSI gauge. Don't let it get to low. I think mine stays around 15-18 psi, but you can go a little bit lower. JT Bagwell

Tweaking a Triton TR21XDC
Without really know your complete setup I can't really say much. Two things that do come to mind are Trim extenders and a Tempest Prop. The 4 blade (Trophy) prop will handle better, but the 3 blade Tempest will give you a little more speed. JT Bagwell

Fish Finder/TM/Battery set up
Like Ernel, I run all of my electronics (bow fishfinder, GPS/Finder at console, flasher, livewells, lights, etc) off of my starting battery. The only thing on my other batteries is my 24v Minn Kota Maxxum. JT Bagwell

lower unit
It is not uncommon for a lower unit to cost $5,000 plus for your bigger motors. JT Bagwell

Approaching companies
Why exactly would you take your tournament shirt? At every face to face deal I have had, I wore a shirt and tie. JT Bagwell

A good company?
In my opinion, the answer is NONE. I think that a 16 year old needs to focus on the fundamentals of bass fishing. To many people get caught up in the "Sponsor" craze. The cold hard truth of the matter is, for anglers regardless of age, you are not going to make money off of sponsors unless you bring a lot to the table. In all actuality most anglers will not even get free baits or free line. It is just not a reality for most people. Take your time, learn the business and once you understand how everything works and have obtained some corporate worth then you can approach possible sponsors. JT Bagwell

In-Fisherman Customer Service
In-Fisherman magazine was purchased a long time ago by a company called Primedia. Primedia owns at least 17 magazines that I am aware of. The days of the Lindner family calling all of the shots are long gone. It sounds like they took the customer service department with them. As RoadWarrior stated previously, myself and Mike Bucca both write for Gary Yamamoto's Inside Line magazine. It is a great magazine that is full of information. One aspect that is great about Inside Line is that we can talk about whatever we want. The folks at GYCB know that although the Senko, Kreature and Ika can catch fish 99.9% of the time, there is still the .1% where a different bait will be the ticket. If one of the Pro Team members does well on a Zoom worm or a Norie's Bug from Kinami baits, we are free to talk about it. Check out Gary Yamamoto's Inside Line magazine, not only will you get a lot of valuable information, but you also get to look at mine and Triton Mike's good looking faces. ;D http://www.insideline.net/ JT Bagwell

bass boat consoles
You can order them from the factory (through a dealer) for most major brands. Last I knew the cost was around $600, but that was a few years ago. JT Bagwell

20' Tritons
I have been running 20' Tritons for a few years and it is great. They DO chine walk a lot, but it can be reduced by proper setup and increased "Seat Time." I have been behind the wheel of mine so much that I very rarely even notice any chine walk. In my opinion they are great boats that are fast and fish comfortably. JT Bagwell

Your 3 favorite pro anglers
#1 - Gerald Swindle - One crazy S.O.B. #2 - Davy Hite - Super nice guy. #3 - Dave Lefebre - Very down to earth. My favorite angler that is retired from Pro fishing is my main guy Hank Parker. JT Bagwell

Ethics question
From an ethics standpoint I see no issue with it. What I would be more concerned with is State and Local statutes. In Illinois (where I live) it is similar to what someone mentioned earlier. You can use a bluegill for bait as long as you are doing so in the water that the fish initially came from. For example you can not (Legally) catch a bluegill in a lake and the take it to the Mississippi river and use it for bait. JT Bagwell

Looks Great!!!!!!!!
Mike, What's up man? I tried the whole moving south thing, but my wife wanted no part of it. For awhile I tried to get her to move to Birmingham, AL, but it was a No-Go so I just gave up on the idea. Talk to you all later. JT Bagwell
