  1. You gotta have Yamamoto's Inside Line ;D www.insideline.net JT Bagwell
  2. My approach is a little different and requires a fatter wallet (but the end result is a much thinner wallet). My wife and I have an agreement that works well. I fish as much as I want and she shops as much as she wants. Thank god for sponsors, otherwise I couldn't afford for her to shop. ;D JT Bagwell
  3. The reason that your Kinami Flash will work as good as a Yamamoto Senko is because they are the exact same bait. ;D Kinami is a division of Yamamoto enterprises that is ran by Derek Yamamoto (Gary's Son). JT Bagwell
  4. I had actually been using Lowrance electronics, but now I am switching to Humminbird. Maybe I am the "turn it on and let it go" kind of guy. I will let you all know how the New Humminbirds are now that they have new ownership. JT Bagwell
  5. I won't ever get mad at a guy (or girl) for having an opinion that is different than mine. That's what is so great about our country. I will test drive the all new Humminbird units and see how much they have changed since they were bought out. JT Bagwell
  6. No, I didn't tell Nick to wake up. I was talking to you. The world record was not a Tiger or Guerilla bass. : JT Bagwell
  7. Hey Hawghunter, If you go a little ways East on your map there (the LMS 332 screen shot) you will be in my town. ;D Glenn, What are you disagreeing with? You think Lowrance units are worth paying $1,600 each? JT Bagwell
  8. So let's propose two seperate divisions for ABA tournaments. We will have Boaters and Non-Boaters. The Boaters will continue to pay $55 and only fish against the boaters. The Non-Boaters will pay $30 and only fish against the Non-Boaters. Given the fact that most ABA tournaments have very low numbers for Non-Boaters, I figure "IF" you win a tournament on the Non-Boater side, you will make about $90 (minus the $30 it cost to enter, minus another $20 to the boater for gas). Doesn't sound like much fun to me. JT Bagwell
  9. I am about 90% sure that I am getting ready to order two of these bad boys for my boat. (Humminbird Matrix 97) And you can just about get both of them for the price of 1 Lowrance. I have 2 Lowrance units and a Garmin that I own right now and none of them are worth $1,600 each. JT Bagwell
  10. ;D Thank you very much. I think the only people that are gaining from the rule change is the anglers in the front of the boat. JT Bagwell
  11. Yeah I knew what a Tiki stick was, I had just never touched or used one. You are right on the money with all of the Senko Knock-Offs on the market. I guess Gary Yamamoto should feel flattered that they are all copying his idea. JT Bagwell
  12. Glenn, I agree. Everyone should buy at least two of them. John, I am following you know. You are definately in the ballpark. JT Bagwell
  13. John, you are correct about Yamamoto. I have never touched a Tiki stick in my life so I know nothing about them. JT Bagwell
  14. phisn_phool, To the best of my knowledge, the baits you mentioned are not made at the same place that Senkos are made. JT Bagwell
  15. How did you come up with the $300 price tag? That seems a little on the high side to me. Unless you are including full-back embroidery and several front side logos. JT Bagwell
  16. The first 3 days are on there, it just takes a while for them to update each day. JT Bagwell
  17. Come on everyone, we have one of the biggest groups out of the 1,000+ groups in the contest. It is too late for the first tournament but there are plenty left in the season. So please, join now. JT Bagwell
  18. We had an article in Bass Journal magazine (when I worked for them) back in 2003 or early 2004 about these fish.
  19. I have used them and they are just Ok. I don't think they are as good as a regular Pointer, but that is my opinion. JT Bagwell
  20. Glenn, Chris, Dusty T. or anyone else, I was just wondering if any of you have used a technique that is pretty old in the south, but it is making its way north. It is called Arkansas Curly Tail Moss Jiggin'. You guys know how to do it? Thanks for the help. JT Bagwell
  21. Somebody wake him up. I think the kid is dreaming. JT Bagwell
  22. Sorry Nick, This story is a year or two old (at least). I would still like to catch them though. JT Bagwell
  23. My Tournament shirts look like the one in the picture. ;D I have different variations of the same shirt style. I also wear the Yellow and Black Yamamoto Pro Team shirts. JT Bagwell
  24. Are you talking about the lightweight shirts that have a flap in the back that has mesh underneath it? If so, I some of them and they are great in the summer. I usually wear them when I am fun fishing or prefishing for a tournament. JT Bagwell
  25. My team is ok, but it is nothing like the Dream Team I was able to put together last year before their prices went way up. JT Bagwell
