  1. 1,000 members, here we come. ;D ;D JT Bagwell
  2. : Yeah, that would have been a great team. It's is too bad it would have been impossible to pick all of those guys on the same roster. The maximum salary you can have is 50 and those guys have a combined salary of 58.9. What? JT Bagwell
  3. LOL Lunker, That was a great story. JT Bagwell
  4. Even though I have a fixed mount GPS in my boat, I decided to buy a handheld also. The one that I bought was the Garmin Etrex Vista. That thing is pretty nice. I haven't needed to get additional software for it because it is loaded with maps already. JT Bagwell
  5. My Triton has a 56 gallon gas tank and it gets a little expensive filling that thing up. But I don't let that affect how I fish. If I think I can win by running 150 miles, I'll do it. JT Bagwell
  6. Down to 8 more openings. JT Bagwell
  7. There are only 12 open slots left in my fantasy fishing group. If you want in, you better act fast. Also tomorrow morning is the cut-off for picking your roster for the first tourney. JT Bagwell
  8. That is just in case you end up with the exact same point total as another person. Use something like 361 (example) for your tourney score and then take the number of tournaments times something like 325 and that will be your season score. These are just examples. JT bagwell
  9. Wow, Nice job Glenn. JT Bagwell
  10. I like having only a single console because I tournament fish. Plus I am always the bus driver, so I am guaranteed a windshield. ;D It is nice for the Co-Anglers (and my wife the 3 times a year she rides in my boat), but I like the increased room to move that you get with a single console. I may decide to get a dual console at some point in the future, but it would take a pretty strong arguement from my wife or one of my Co-Anglers to get that job done. JT Bagwell
  11. Abelfisher, I saw this earlier on the American Bass Anglers website and I thought of you. JT Bagwell
  12. That's no lie Mark. I blew my motor last year about a mile down the river from the ramp. Luckily my Minn Kota had enough juice to get me back against the strong Mississippi River current. JT Bagwell
  13. Good follow ups guys. JT Bagwell
  14. I got some Bass Fishermans Tournament Club (or something like that) game for Christmas. It is for my PS2. This dang game makes me so mad that I can't even play it. For starters, you have to use spinning tackle. Who the heck uses spinning tackle for Bass? (LOL Easy guys, that was just a joke ) But seriously, if I hook a bluegill in that game, it breaks my line. Now I have been fishing for a lot of years and even before I was given the gift of PowerPro, I never had a bluegill break me off. I might get the Mark Davis game next. (If it doesn't suck) JT Bagwell
  15. Hello Yak, Sorry it took me a little while, but welcome to Bass Resource. JT Bagwell
  16. Welcome aboard Glass Man JT Bagwell
  17. Last time I checked we were already up to 20 members. 50 is the maximum that they will allow in a group. JT Bagwell
  18. My most productive color is blue (in combination with something else). What I mean by that is: Black/Blue Jigs Chart./Blue Cranks JT Bagwell
  19. I like to use Lizards, Senkos and Jigs for bass around the spawning season. JT Bagwell
  20. If you are fishing the Really Thick business, try using a 1 oz jig or a Kreature bait with a 1 oz weight and flip the pockets. The Rat-L-Trap is what I use more in sparsley populated weeds (or along the outter edges). JT Bagwell
  21. I don't know what kind of water depths you are fishing, but one thing I like to do in weeds is rip 3/4 oz Rat-L-Traps through them. I also like to swim jigs through the weeds. JT Bagwell
  22. Kicken_Bass, I am one that fishes a jig A LOT. In reality I probably fish them too much. Largemouth aren't always going to hit jigs in a manner that is violent. A lot of times you won't even feel anything. You will just notice your line swimming one way or the other. My advice to you would be: When fishing jigs, anytime the bait feels different, set the hook. If there is extra weight or no weight at all, set the hook. If the line is moving in any direction without your control (whether you feel it or not) set the hook. As far as I am concerned, it is a lot better to set the hook and have it be a snag, than to not set the hook on a big bass. Once you fish with jigs enough, you will start to build a great sense of how the bait should feel. A couple of years ago I had a guy out fishing with me. I was using a 1/2 oz Jig with a Big Trailer. So overall my bait had a pretty large profile. On one cast it just didn't feel normal so I set the hook. Shortly after, I reeled in a 3" Bluegill that I had stuck through the head. The bait was as big as the fish, but that Bluegill was big enough that I could feel the difference. The guy that was with me just couldn't believe that I could feel that little fish. JT Bagwell
