  1. Much needed, we are down everywhere by 2-3 feet
  2. Thanks for the response Dwight, it's good to see the request answered and in a very timely fashion.
  3. There's a reason why I use 15lb copoly, any size fish aren't spooked by it. I don't loose many lures
  4. Good luck out there, I cant stand trolling
  5. You would think for the price try would, but they dont
  6. Where are you getting your connection from? Is there filtered sites? What websites is this happening on? Need some better information
  7. Apparently his mechanic keeps losing all his tools and needs a goat to chew off the parts
  8. Before this did you ever drop the reel in dirt?
  9. I would suggest hook keepers, their like hard plastic blankets for your trebles. But you'd have to go to the store and when you're there you could get split rings...
  10. 40 lbs IMO, the rod would've been a better reference.
  11. I never used hockey or stick tape before so I don't know the adhering process, but, when I use to temporarily put tape on anything I'd put on a thin layer of stretch wrap around the item then tape it up.
  12. Oops! Had my wife try it, I think it's hers now
  13. It's a dam used for the canal systems (defunct), there's two here both with updated fish ladders
  14. Their push pin removal pliers. Their used for removing panels or body parts. From the looks of them their cheap taiwan made with rust eating them, wouldn't doubt the owner bought another one already
  15. Just got my package in the mail, Avid MHM. Couldn't tell you how fast I got out to the water with this thing. Came to be a good outcome on a nice day and some actual fish! Yeah finding fish stinks around here, but anywho about an hours time got some good shots off: And for the fish, one largie and two smallies:
  16. If you asked this last week I would have said without a doubt my St. Croix premier 5' ULM, I have caught more fish on it than any other rod I own since it was the most enjoyable. But, since I ran into a huge carp with my Avid 7' MHF and fought with it for over 20 minutes and the battle for lost and gained ground was 10 feet many times, I have to say the Avid now.
  17. The cover of what your fishing would help decide, if I was fishing in any resistance I would choose a heavier rod to help pull through it.
  18. Follow the specifications on the rod for their intended weights/line for optimum usability.
  19. There is no standard for line diameter. So there isnt a guide all of them can go by.
  20. Learning one braid knot isn't hard and carrying scissors will fix 2 of this problems. Far as the price goes its not bad considering braid can last longer which means less purchasing
  21. $35 to disclose your honey holes and secret lures? Sounds as bad as angieslist.
  22. No way near 5lbs
  23. Well have you seen the replies about people talking about the cumara being a better deal over the nrx, it takes sales away from a more profitable rod within the company. competing with yourself is not good business practice.
