  1. Usually if you're asking questions you need to give info, the rods/reels/line is only have of the equation, the other half is what you want to do or what you are doing with them as far as technique and size lure go
  2. Well it would be half that a month. It's not about having a bunch of combos to begin with more as it being better going with a better combo. figure if you didn't have all the gear you own already. I wouldn't doubt everyone spends more a month on other leisures of life than just $75. No matter what it always depends on what you want to spend on something.
  3. Depends on the vehicle, if it's a large mainstream SUV like a surburban they have kits that'll fit better, for small SUV's you're left out for the most part. I've made my own, for under $10 with typical items http://www.bassresou...suv-rod-holder/
  4. It's not big compared to how it's used, with braid you are matching the diameter based off the mono that takes its place
  5. Wonder what happens to that 300 yards when it leaves your reel, talk about an overgrown hair tormenting a fish
  6. Their could be something in his contract about off the field conduct
  7. With the free shipping it takes the cake
  8. No hook = no fish Lost = there are fish
  9. He decided to get drunk the night before the tournament? Hmm... And that facebook stalking is a bit weird.
  10. Welcome aboard neighbor
  11. Hey you're missing slow action on that chart
  12. I don't believe you Chris! When I lived in nor cal all I ever saw was Folsom lake get lower and lower Same thing happened by my canal, the rivers been bad so they started bedding in the canal right before they filled it. They all disappeared and I wouldn't doubt things got screwy
  13. When you get down to the numbers, it really doesn't. Say for one high combo you spend a drop a grand and fish half the year you're at a little over $5 a day for your combo. Not as bad as it seems.
  14. They make more from the advertizing either way
  15. Works better for me, especially on trout and pickerel. With a moderate I lose more hook sets
  16. It's overkill on a spinning reel that small. P-Line and Yo Zuri make strong line without using such a thick diameter, look into them. Just on P-line 15lb I can bend 2/0 hooks out of logs. Atleast run a 10lb line and do weedless setups like texas rigs to control the getting stuck situation
  17. IMO anything with a fast tip should be suffice, I throw 0 to 2 on ultralights, all the way 2 to 5's on a MHF
  18. They make the full version
  19. It gets easier with electronic locks. now all you need is a wedge (a big door stopper would work) to spread the upper door open and a hanger
  20. We have several dams due to the rich canal history here, along with the railroad relics that destroyed the canal industry The house in the background is a lock tenders house which is haunted and still in use, but just as a house. This is by the end of the canal, with an old RR bridge that was decommissioned back in the 70's: Whenever there isn't bites, there's always the scenery of time gone by here.
  21. Awesome work! Hole puncher comes to mind, man custom ones out there for certain diameters
  22. Also, both parties end up paying regardless of who's fault by raised rates.. Always call the cops, not only is it suppose to reported since it was a public road, you also have to cover your butt if the guy wants to sue you a year down the road for whiplash or whatever
