  1. Congrats on the catch!
  2. Catching a lot of little ones like that can really make the day fly by when the big bass can't be found.
  3. Happy Easter Everyone!
  4. I like using a bag when I fish out of the boat. I use a hard box when fishing from the bank.
  5. Don't start trying to fix something that ain't broke.
  6. Two weeks ago the bass were in shallow, in the dead lily pads. Last week it snowed so they could be anywhere now.
  7. My plastics could be passed down to my future great grandchildren.
  8. Well last year it was a Pop-R.
  9. The article says it is a waterway that connects two pieces of state owned property. I wonder if they could say it's an easement, and tell the landowners where to go.
  10. I like the fish gripper better than the plastic bag. The bass were getting their fins in the bag, and tearing it up.
  11. One more vote for the tiny torpedo.
  12. Nice bass! Welcome aboard!
  13. Nice going! Minus 1 is my favorite shallow running crankbait.
  14. I never had any problems with a palomar knot.
  15. I put the rod tip down as the bass is coming up. I try and swing the rod in a half hearted hook set. I am not trying to keep the line tight, I am trying to break the fish's momentum. Sometimes it works and sometime it doesn't.
  16. About 10 years ago the we were having a drought and the lake levels were way down. I hooked something that would not move, and I thought it was an old tree stump. Turned out to be a 10 pound anchor that somebody had dropped overboard.

  18. Try some local mom and pop stores. A few years back I picked up a Revo for half price because the store just didn't have the room for all of the inventory.
  19. Prespawn around here means the weather could change in a blink of an eye.
  20. Catching them like that is always a good time! Way to clean up!
