  1. We have been having cold fronts come through on Fridays for a few weeks now. If it does manage to stay warm we usually have 15 to 20 mph winds with gusts.
  2. There are some very nice bass in LOZ. You can catch them if you can stand the boating traffic. I know a lot of people that will not fish that lake between spring and fall. Me being one of them.
  3. Good going!
  4. It's a toss up between a 1/4 ounce white/chart. spinnerbait, and a 1/2 ounce white bladed jig with a white fat albert trailer. They have both been working for me.
  5. Nice chunk! Way to work the cold fronts!
  6. I would use a bladed jig, or a jig and craw that is heavy enough to throw in the wind.
  7. Congrats to her!
  8. Sounds like you had a great trip.
  9. Good going!
  10. You've got some nice ones there!
  11. I like white, and chart/white. Those are the two colors I use the most. 1/4, 3/8, or 1/2 ounce depending on how deep the water is.
  12. I keep them in the original bags, in the tackle bag. If the label comes off I write on the package with a sharpie.
  13. Way to deal with the wind, and turn the day around.
  14. Nice bass! Good going!
  15. I only belong to BR, and a couple of other forums. Years ago I had someone online pretend to be me. That pretty much killed my urge for social media.
  16. I start night fishing when the bass stop biting during the day. Summertime, no clouds, hot, still, and you don't see, or hear, any other animals moving around.
  17. I use both. Usually one or the other will get a bite. I just have to keep playing with presentation, and color until I get it right.
  18. Looks like you had a real good outing, good job!
  19. Thanks for the info. Guess I will wait for B vs S to come to On Demand.
  20. Congrats on the new PB!
  21. You caught some nice bass there!
  22. Before I go out I check the weather to see what the wind, cloud cover, etc. will be like. For everything else, I wing it. There are just too many variables once you get out on the water.
  23. I break it down by species. A bass is not a catfish.
