  1. Trailhead Red Amber Ale. Its made by a local micro-brewery.
  2. I have a 5000 roughly 15 yo, an 5600 C4 around 10 or 11 yo, and a 5600 C3 that is six yo. They get used for jigs, plastics, and spinnerbaits.
  3. Pliers, line cutters, screwdrivers, and a knife. This time of year I might throw in a flashlight depending on the time of day I head out.
  4. If you have boxes that will fit, you can try some stackable milk crates.
  5. There is a lake I fish that has a creek empty into it. The water is muddy all of the time, and worse when it rains. The best luck that I have is on a 3/8 or 1/2 ounce black jig with a big black trailer.
  6. T-Rig 99% of the time.
  7. It depends on what I am fishing for. I prefer to catch bass on artificial bait, but for panfish and cat I use live bait.
  8. I have several BPS rods. They are hard to beat for the price. I have also had two extreme reels. The first lasted about two months and the second lasted about 45 minutes before it quit. I will never buy another. Check with the Fishing Dept. manager and see if you can get your money back for the reel and keep the rod.
  9. Another vote for the Slug-o. This year its caught more than the Super Fluke.
  10. Just picked one up from BPS. Because of work, I won't be able to get out on the water until next week to use it, so I'll be out on the deck practicing my pitching into the flower bed.
  11. Last year I picked up a Revo-S from a outdoor sports store that was getting rid of their fishing stock to make room for hunting season. I paid $50 for it.
  12. 6-2 largemouth caught on a 5/8 jitterbug. 6:05 AM, no wind, no waves, temp was about 75. I had been starting the retreive as soon as the bait hit the water and not getting any bites. I threw out over a road bed and let it sit for a couple of seconds until the waves cleared. The LM hit as soon as I started to move the jitterbug.
  13. Natural craw, chrome w/ blue back, smokey joe, and diamond dust.
  14. Yep, always take the flyer along. My mom taught me that years ago.
  15. Bankbeater replied to Craiger12's topic in Fishing Reports
    Congrats. That's a nice one.
  16. There's nothing like ice fishing out of a boat .
  17. I like the lazer eye spinner baits, and the 6" stik-o. I have excellent luck with their spinners this year.
  18. That BPS will match the prices of other local competitors? I just heard this yesterday and I was wondering if it were true.
  19. Same thing that worked in the spring around here. Jigs, spinners, and cranks.
  20. My horoscope told me that I would be posting today ;D.
  21. Nice One!!
  22. I felt that way every friggin week from the first of March until the end of May.
  23. I got my BS in Business Admin. back in 1986. About six months out of college I got hired part-time to work on a CAD system which had nothing to do with my degree. About a year later I was hired full time and have been there 22 years now. My degree didn't help me get my current job, but if I didn't have it I would be making about 10% to 15% less than what I do now.
