Usually after a few cuss words I have it worked out of my system.

If I have thrown everything in the box without even one bite, I usually try a jig and if that doesn't work I pack it up and go home.

Try and visit the area you'll be fishing during daylight hours to get an idea of the terrain. The last thing you want to do is crack your head on a low hanging limb that you didn't know was there.

I had shoulder surgery 11 days ago for a torn labrum. I went to the Dr. on Friday, and he told me I would be in a sling until at least 4-23 when I have my next visit. If he thinks that I have healed enough, I can start strength training after that. I can use my hand but I can't lift anything heavier than around a pound. Dr. said that if the strength work goes O.K. that I will be able to do regular stuff in the middle of May.

X2 Happened when I had an ear infection a few years back. It was like I was looking through a gray veil.

I like jigs and plastics down deep.

Last year it was a 3/8 jig.

Air temp above 60, but below 90. I don't care if its night, day, or raining as long as its warm out.

Super fluke in white or baby bass. I usually use a 3/0 ewg hook.

In a jon boat forgetting to tie the anchor line to the boat and throwing out the anchor. I was sitting there thinking the wind was pulling the boat and anchor, and then I saw the anchor line floating out in the water. I was lucky that the water was not deep.

I trim my skirt so that it goes back just past the bend in the hook and I trim the guard down so that it is just above the hook.

I'm planning of the first trip of the year next weekend. Right now the temp is 17. We'll see.

Curious. Do they seem to hit it on the stop, or on the start? Sorry I took so long to answer. On the start most of the time.

I have used my revo-s to throw t-rigged tubes with 1/16 bullet weights. It felt a little funny at first, but when I got use to it there was no problem.

The white stuff missed us this time. Now we are bracing for the cold. It is suppose to be low in the teens and highs in the low to mid thirties all week. I guess the lakes are going to freeze back over.
