  1. Had a great day fishing yesterday. Went to the basic 7" black Culprit worm. I fished it T-rig with a bullet weight. Pitching it softly under a bridge on a canal..Man they were just loading up on these worms. Honestly there is nothing better than catching a fish on a plastic worm. Such a basic rig!
  2. Are you guys referring to the sonara? I thought the sahara was 80. I;m probably wrong.
  3. I fish them weightless usually. I like the smoking shad color. I wouldn't weight them down, i feel they have better action without.
  4. 10" worms! Try the Lake Fork worms. They give off alot of vibration, had alot of luck with them. Other than that, what they said!
  5. Hey Everyone, I live in WPB, and looking for somebody to fish with and hit local spots or whatever. I have a few honey holes. Willing to share. I fish alot on the bank and by myself. If your interested in joining let sometime let me know.

  9. I haven't caught anything out of canals yet, and was curious to what lures or techniques are used to catch bass. If there is anything different. Thanks

  11. Its all good man, welcome!
  12. Yea I actually have that same rod paired with a BPS tournament series baitcaster. I love it, I use it for cranking!
  13. Try Hurricane rods. They carry them at Dick's or Sports Authority. About 60 or so bucks, great rod for the price!
  14. I use a 6ft MH for cat fishing! Don't need accuracy..
  15. I have one, it fits in my truck box!!! thats great!
  16. I would start by throwing a LIpless Crank bait (rattle trap). Varying retrievals. You can cover lots of water. Run it on the bottom to get a feel down there. Then go from there. I fish the Xr50 one knocker, foxy shad alot, and catch fish all the time.
  17. I love my revo s!
  18. I agree, they are great. That was the first BPS baitcaster I bought, I love it.
  19. I have the Spinning reel, the 2500, and I love it! Works great on a ML rod, 10lb. line, and a weightless 5" senko!
  20. BPS extreme, and its on sale for 50-60 bucks. its a great reel!
  21. I just picked up a 7ft MH Triumph. I like it so far. And I have a 6'6" ML Premier series that I use with lighter tackle, paired with a Diawa Calida 2500. That is a great reel also!
  22. Probably around 50-60 bucks...Just bought a 7ft Hurricane MH spinning rod for about that much. It's a nice rod!
  23. Ok, so...how much weight do you fish with? I think I'm almost in the market for a medium action rod, 7ft. I like the rod to have more give to it when worming...what you think? I throw crankbaits with a 7ft MH.
  24. What is a good worming rod??
