  1. This is what my grandpa has on his boat, its just a little sticker. It reads My wife named my boat FOR SALE
  2. My goal is to catch more fish than the other people in the boat and to have the largest. I am usually succesful in the total but the biggest my dad will get some days.
  3. The thing is when you try to catch the big one you are going to have to sacrafice numbers. Hopefully it will pay off and you can catch a 8 pounder. Stick with it if its what you want. Personally I would rather go out and catch 10 fish than go out and catch 1 big one.
  4. I enjoy looking at some of the custom rods that people put on here. Lets so some of your guys best work. I don't have anthing to show but i am sure some of the guys on here have a few sweet looking rods.
  5. I was looking on the internet lately and was trying to find something with the 50 largest or 25 or something that is up to date. I found one but it was really old. Any help would be appricated.
  6. I don't know if your has this on it but mine has a simulator so you can play with it in garage one night without having to go out and just see what settings you like and so on. KU, i know Cabelas used to have classes on depth finders and GPS stuff.
  7. Does anyone know where i can find the handle that comes with the St. Croix legend elite. All i want is the brown and black handle. If anyone knows it would really be appricated.
  8. I was wondering what speed is good for a rod dryer? I have been looking around on ebay and there are a ton of differen't speeds, as low as 4 rpm and up to the 20's. Also, where is the best place to buy one? I am just starting and have little knowledge when it comes to rod building.
  9. the boat i fish out of is my Grandpa's. he got a fish n ski its been no problem fishing out of. It has plenty of storage and lots of power. Nice electronics and a nice minn kota trolling motor.
  10. I have done this twice, both were on the same day with a TD Vibrations. The first time it happened both of the fish were less than a pound each. The Second time both of them were over two pounds. One thing is they didn't fight very hard they were heavy but didn't have any fight in em.
  11. I went to the sportshow the first day it opened. There wasn't a lot going on then however my dad and i found some guides for Lake Fork where we are going this summer. It a good time a good place to go is the St. Croix people and talk to them. I learned a lot talking to there sales reps.
  12. 4 1/2 Smallmouth 4 1/4 Largemouth Same day, Same basic spot, Same lure
  13. I know to put the plug back in but how? On our boat you can't reach down and put the plug in when your in the water.
  14. What is the best thing to do if you Forget to put in the plug? If you are a long way from the ramp.
  15. http://www.signonsandiego.com/sports/outdoors/20030601-9999_1s1outdoors.html http://www.signonsandiego.com/sports/outdoors/20030603-9999_1s3outdoors.html I was reading this article and it is very interesting. The 4th largest bass and the 9th largest is the same fish. My PB best is a 4.5 smallmouth and i could only dream of a 8 in Kansas
  16. I don't see anything wrong with fishing durning the spawn as long as you realse em. I could understand lakes having regulations that don't allow you to keep fishing during the spawn but i still think you should be able to fish.
  17. The best way to make your partner mad is to make a terrable cast and back lash then when you get done pulling it out fell a good 2 pounder on the other end. I works a lot actually if you throw it in a good spot.
