  1. I have a 2009 Nitro 290 Sport, which was a new model this year. It is 19'6" and has an 8'4" beam. I have a 200 Optimax on it and it is a great boat. For 2010 they discontinued the 288 so the 189 and 290 are the only Nitro F&S's now. There is a ton of room in the 290 and it will hold 7' rods. It is a heavy boat though, but I wanted a deeper V because I do a lot of fishing in Lake Michigan.
  2. Like Sam, all year long but they do seem to be more productive in the Spring.
  3. What kind of line are you guys spooling up with for flipping?
  4. And if anyone wants a 7'6" HF one, I have one for sale here. It is the Boyd Duckett Gold series. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1236738620
  5. I am gonna be down there in a couple of weeks and have never fished that area before. I am not looking for anyone's honey holes, just some places that I might be able to fish. Feel free to PM me. Thanks.
  6. Where is the best place to get those bearings?
  7. I have both a Revo SX and a Trion and the Revo is better in my opinion. Especially the drag.
  8. Whole nightcrawlers without a bobber. Works for me.
  9. I have the 6'6" MM crankbait rod and it does cast a crank a mile.
  10. I have been very pleased with the Gamma line. Definitely worth the $ in my opinion.
  11. I have one that is spooled up with 30# power pro. I used it last week up in Canada casting for northerns and didn't have any problems. I like it a lot, almost better than my Revo SX.
  12. I got the SX and like it a lot. The extra $50 made it worth it to me.
  13. I have to agree about ebay. Sometimes people end up paying full price plus shipping and could have gotten the reel for the same price locally. Here is a link to a site that I have found has some of the best prices on reels. They also have free shipping on orders over $75. I have not ordered from them personally, but I plan to do so in the future. http://www.deloscustomtackleshack.com/
