  1. http://m.trackerboats.com/#boats_scr_detail?boat=3654 We'll boys my hardwork and working non stop for 3 months has finally payed off. Put a down payment down on this bad boy and got my credit score high enough to finance it. I am now a bass boat owner. Can't wait to start using this guy up at Northwood and other places. Not the biggest and fanciest boat but it's all I need.
  2. Fishing Northwood Lake after work today. Hopefully get on some good fish gonna try the jig.
  3. Pleasant Pond or Haunted Lake in francestown are usually pretty good. I caught a 5lber around this time at scobie. Just fish deeper parts of both those places and fish slow. Jig would be your best bet.
  4. My grandpa just got back from Florida and while he was down there the final day he catches this monster.
  5. Is kezar actually called kezar on the map? I was looking and can't seem to find it. It is in Lovell right and after looking at some of the fish MaineBass brings up I wanna make the trip atleast once this summer.
  6. Went out today on a good little pond water was warming up fast there and it was an easy paddle so I figured I'd put. Fished a jig painfully painfully slow with a Rage Craw in watermelon color managed to land this fish being the first NH bass of the 2015 season it was a decent sized one too.
  7. Went out to a spot in Northwood. Didn't catch much it was only my second time there so I'm stilling learning the spot. And with the cold water the bite isn't quite on yet. Figured any pond or lake best option would be to fish the deepest structure you can find or even the deepest parts. Love using my new rods though hopefully I'll get one tomorrow
  8. Also I just bought a fish finder for my canoe looking on ways to hook it up in the canoe any suggestions. I got a lowrance elite 3x
  9. Hey man nice to see your back here I'm up in Northwood for the next 3 days if you wanna fish anytime after 4 o clock I got my canoe
  10. Also got out onto Scobie today. Lakes still got some ice near the far end, but not much if any. Water was cold and fishing was slow had a couple of yellow perch follow my jig up to the boat, but no bass ohh well. Still gonna go for it tomorrow. Hopefully can get on a hog if anyone wants to come fishing or fish tomorrow I am available all day and don't care where we go. just shoot me a pm I have one available spot on my canoe.
  11. Gramps is still down in Florida and he sends me this pic. Old man's still slaying them.
  12. Gonna go try Scobie Pond today in Francestown. Will be my first excursion out wish me luck guys hopefully bring in a hog.
  13. I'll be out on my secret hot spot today up near Northwood. Hopefully all the ice has moved out.
  14. Saw it when I was up in Northwood on Saturday. Pretty good I would say it should be all gone by the end of this week. The ice was going away fast when I was there so I would only assume. I'm going up that way Thursday so I'll check it out for yea.
  15. Nev would you be interested in just selling the 25hp motor? Also is it a tiller motor?
  16. Jig with rage craw trailer. SLOW is the name of the game. I'd be fishing the deep drops on the opposite side of the boat ramp. Fish will slowly move up into the shallows, but will stay close to that deep water. Fish that jig slow almost painful to fish, but it pays off big. If you want even more of a slower presentation try a Uncle Josh pork frog as a trailer or even a zoom chunk the fish may be finicky to the rage craw. Either way Jig all the way.
  17. Anyone fish up near francestown any word on if scobie pond or pleasant pond are unfrozen yet. I've been up in Northwood working for about a week now and the lake should be Ice out by the end of this week, but I come home tomorrow and plan on getting some fishing in during the week. Those are the two places I mainly fish near me.
  18. http://www.nhbasscasters.com/contact.htm Message David. You can just go to any of these tournaments as a non boater and pay and they'll put you with someone, Or you can join the club and pay the fees and B.A.S.S memberships and all that and become affiliated and they may have someone looking for a partner. They told me last year they had 2 or 3 people looking for a partner so I am sure they probably will have someone available. Also try this club they might have spots open too. http://www.lastcastclub.com/
  19. Just in time for me to comeback from Florida glad to know there's some open water. Anything on millpond if that's open?
  20. Was wondering if any of you guys who fish with kayaks or canoes have any tips for fishing big lakes? Meaning how you go about fishing them in your canoes or what you bring and safety concerns. I fish in a 12ft canoe most of the year and pop it in multiple different places around me, but this summer I would love to start fishing some of the big lakes around me such as Lake Winnipausakee in NH. Any tips would help me greatly. Also if it helps I paddle most of the time, but I do have a 30lb thrust trolling motor I use from time to time.
  21. Lake Osborne along the canal on prince road
  22. Osbornes where the 7lber and the 5lber were caught fish along the canal on prince road on your right hand side when you come In. Was very productive during the morning and at dusk. During the day it slows down a bit but if you fish a Texas rig slow through the weeds you should get on umm.
  23. Well guys very successful trip down here in Southeast Florida. Went and fished the Everglades, Lake Okeechobee, and Lake Osborne. Caught a ton of fish usually around 8-10 per day with most fish being 1-2lbs in size. These were the 5 biggest fish of the trip with a 5lb 2oz, 7lb 0oz, 3lb 2oz, 2lb 8oz, and a 4lb 8oz being the biggest fish. All in all great trip to Florida.
