Well boys looks like the plan as of right now is we will be fishing Lake Ida, Osborne, and Clarke all three connected through the Canal systems. Pretty stoked on that. Can't wait to actually throw a line out so sick of this snow.

Anyone have any tips for fishing here? Will be down in Florida March 16th- 26th. Will be fishing from shore looking to get on some hogs. Any shore spots or as what to throw at this time down there would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there guys. I am from NH and am going down to Boca Raton for 10 days in March. Looking to see if I can get in some fishing down there. I have no boat so everything would have to be from shore so I was thinking hitting up maybe some of the local golf course ponds and even some of the Canals like the C-15 and such. If anyone has any info as to where I should fish down there that would be great.

These all are from various years because my phone lost all my pictures. Still some good bass though 1st one was caught on a 7in Power Worm T rigged 2nd was caught on a Wacky Rigged Senko 3rd was caught on a Black and Blue 1/2 ounce Stanley Jig with a Black with Blue Fleck Rage Craw.

Anyone ever try those Huddleston swim baits around these parts? They look pretty bad ass to throw for some monster fish.

Yea the way points would defiantly help I usually just get a close estimate when I use them and I am pretty accurate. This is what I do on most of my lakes that I want to learn or to find the deep water stuff. Defiantly helps give you a game plan before hitting the water.

I was looking into the BPS Johnny Morris Carbon Lite rods. They have some good reviews. What I am looking for is the most durable and most sensitive rod for my buck.

I have been in the market for some new rods with more sensitivity as my Ugly Sticks are starting to wear down and I want to try something new. Looking for something with. Medium Heavy action 7ft length. Casting Rod Medium Action 7ft length. Spinning Rod Both setups will need to have the maximum amount of sensitivity as I can get for bottom contact as both setups will be used mostly for T rigs, Jigs, and Topwater.

That is the only downside to the Ugly stick is being fiberglass and pretty heavy all around I feel as though I cut my sensitivity and bottom feel down a lot. What would you recommend for a rod? I know graphite is the way to go. I also have a bait casting setup for my heavier T rigs and Jigs that I have on a 7ft MH ugly stick.

I was looking into buying a new spinning reel roughly for about 100 bucks maybe 130 at most. The rod it will be in will be a 7ft medium action ugly stick used mostly for Texas rigs with 1/8th-3/16 oz weights. Any tips are appreciated

Ohh I do use a variety of baits for T rigs. Just the majority is the Power Worms, but I also use Strike King Rage Craws, Senkos, and Zoom Lizards.

Now for fishing roughly 6-10ft is 1/8oz weight good for bottom contact? or should I bump it up. Also if fishing the 10in worm with an 1/8oz weight would you still say use the bait caster or stick to spinning?

So lately what I have been wondering is what would be my best rod and reel option for Texas Rig worm fishing. The setups I have right now are 1. A Mitchell 300ex spinning reel 5:1 gear ratio on a 7ft medium Ugly Stick rod. 2. A BPS Pro Qualifier 7:1 gear ratio bait caster reel on a 7ft Medium-Heavy Ugly Stick rod. I mostly fish Berkeley Power worms T rigged with an 1/8oz weight for light wind conditions and 3/16 oz weight for windy conditions Worms I use are 7in and 10in. I also use Live target Frogs and Field Mice for top water, and those are about 1/2oz-3/4oz in size. Basically those 2 baits are all I use. My question is which setup of mine would be the best setup for the Texas Rig.

Quick question for anyone who fishes the Merrimack area. Is there any other entrance to the Penichuck near PC connection besides going through the long swamp canal? Heard it's good fishing in there and would like to find an alternative entrance.

Aright guys so I have been working hard lately and I figured I would treat myself to one more setup haha. What I am looking to get is a spinning combo that has a 7ft Medium action rod .Was thinking around 200 I wanna spend. Any suggestions on rod and reel? would mostly be used for T rigs, Jerk baits, Maybe some spinner baits and top water. Something well rounded. I was looking into maybe getting a U.S Reel. I like using lighter line so It seemed pretty good.
