  1. I didn't think you could use live bait at this time for bass? Unless they weren't targeting bass?
  2. Craws are a brighter orange in the spring time then turn to a more dark brown with a hint of blue and green under their stomachs. If it were me I would get 2 cranks One with the brighter orange and brown batter and then one with a lighter brown and black mix that way you get best of both worlds. On another note if it were me I would go with a jig and rage craw or a jig and a crawfish trailer rather than a crank bait if you are trying to imitate a crawfish.
  3. Prime forage would consist mostly of Perch, Bluegill, and Crawfish would be my top 3 most baits I use resemble something along the lines of those 3.
  4. When you use the maps what exactly are you looking for? I use the app sometimes just to see depth and sometimes a drop off if the lines are stacked up, but I don't really know how to read the maps much
  5. You never cease to disappoint Shane nice fish. Haha too cold for me will be out there second or 3rd week of April guarantee and the Rage Craw will be making its way I promise you that haha.
  6. Might have to take up some trout fishing if the ice don't go soon lol
  7. I hope to catch some hogs in April. Gotta look into the Nashua River more to find out where these fish will be haha hopefully find some good spots and beat my PB. Can't wait to use these Rage Craws
  8. Hopefully you get something might be a hard bit if it's cold.
  9. I mean I bought basically every color they had at bass pro haha.
  10. He got me on Rage Baits and I haven't even used them yet , but judging by Shane's pics I can assume they catch big fish .
  11. That looks like an interesting course. It would be nice just to have so you could do small fishing charters if you ever wanted to. So if you pass it do most guides find job fields or start their own business?
  12. I don't know about pay haha, but if you ever need a fishing buddy haha I'll tag along plan on fishing the Nashua River hard this year gonna start there in April hopefully I will get on some good size bass if I can find the right spots. I sure am itching to try my new jig setup.
  13. Sh** I should get into the guiding business haha. That's where all the money is lol
  14. I wish I had a 25hp for my little v hull. Than my bass boat would fly haha, but I ain't made of millions so my 6hp will just have to get the job done.
  15. Where would I find the older posts? Or did you mean just older posts on this thread because I have read all the posts and I will say I have learned a lot. Especially this year now that I have the Rage Craw in my arsenal never got around to it. I plan on fishing it exclusively for a while to get the feel of it and make it a confidence bait.
  16. Hopefully he'll let me in on some tips on fishing it I caught my PB outta there. I have an idea where some of the bass are, but I think there are some deep pockets I haven't found that would be gold mines.
  17. I hope so I am going for submerged cover all year. Gonna try hard to work the Nashua River for the secret Honey Holes. I know there is a pig in there caught my PB there and I feel there are bigger ones in there in hidden places.
  18. Pshh remember Shane Under dogs always come out on top ill get that 10lber haha
  19. My first fish wasn't caught till April 26th. Hopefully I get my 8lber in April lol
  20. Hopefully April proves to be warm and gets the water temps up. I wanna catch a Pig this April pushing the 8lb+ mark
  21. I ordered mine online I believe I got free shipping on my Pro Qualifier as well.
  22. Hopefully this year I can really get into some ponds and lakes around here and try to figure them out well. I just gotta find a good place around here. I feel as though Pratt pond might be a good option in Mason, NH everyone I have heard that goes there doesn't go offshore to much. I will be fishing the Nashua River a lot this year as well now that I have a good fuel efficient car to get down there.
  23. Reason I got into jigging is so I can expand offshore with a bait made for bottom fishing. Hopefully I can land some hogs this summer moving into deeper structure and cover this year.
