With your fish finder mount do you think it would read well if I just paddle. As of now I do not have a trolling motor on my canoe, but my girlfriend is buying me one as a gift and I wanted to do the setup like yours so that I could use it with my boat and my canoe. Just seeing if it would work with paddles.

Here are most of the fish I caught this past Thursday and Friday while up in Northwood NH. Also odd that I caught some Black Crappies as well never have I seen those in there before.

So true about the fight, but I don't know I like catching big ones. I can't stand catching small ones though.

Your Pickerel beats the NH state record in inches by 1 in. How much did he weigh? the record in NH for pickerel is 26in 8lbs http://www.wildlife.state.nh.us/Fishing/NH_state_record_fish.htm

Here is 2 good sized pickerels I have caught out of Northwood Lake as well.

These 2 beasts were caught on Northwood Lake by my Great Grandpa. They hold the record on the lake at 8lbs 4oz and 8lbs 14oz. I still believe there are some monsters in this lake.

Went out today before I have to go to work caught 4 fish within an hour and a half. All 2lbs and up biggest being 2.5lbs. It was crazy just how quick the bite picked up today right after the rain.

Looks like a good setup does it read pretty accurate bottom contour?
