  1. The fish finder I always feel isnt helping me and do I have to be right over something for the sonar to read it???
  2. I have a portable fish finder an eagle cuda 300 yet I have not the slightest clue how to use it and the sonar is a pain to use can anyone elaborate on how to use it???

  5. Okay, but on another note how do you determine bad structure from good structure??? What I mean is what are some signs of if fish are being held in the structure or if its pointless to even fish it???
  6. So basically look for cover on the water that isnt in too shallow water but isnt swamped and just work those areas??? Also seeing as how I dont have electronics do you think I should rely more on findig cover and structure rather than going deep water???
  7. Okay guys let me throw you my scenario. I do not have all the money in the world to spend on fancy electronics to find fish. What I mostly rely on is a good topo map and my knowledge of bass and where they will be at certain times of the day. Can anyone explain to me how they beco,me successful on the water without electronics and how they find bass on any body of water??? Any help is appreciated Thanks - Mike

Hey guys so I have a handhled Gps it is made for fishing and Hunting and I just read the manual today and I found out I can upload topo maps in from a program I can buy and it will give me a topo map of the whole lake such as drop offs flats road beds all underwater structure. Just wondering if anyone has ever done this to find fish??
  9. Hey guys, I am wondering how you guys approach new waters. What I mean by this is where do you begin when you get on a new piece of water??? Do you look at the shore lay out and look for specific areas and try there or??? Any info is appreciated Thanks -Mike

  18. What about points about 15 yards Off shore just dig a couple holes along the drop and put the tip ups there and also what do you use for bait??

    So everyone I need to know if this is a good setup for my tackle box. I have 4 Booyah willow leaf spinner baits in red, chartreuse, black, white. I have 4 KVD square bill crank baits in about the same colors as i mentioned. Last but not least I got 4 packs of ribbon tail worms in white and neon green and black and red for Texas rigging. Is this a good setup or do I need more also what kinda tackle box should I get I don't want something hard.
  22. I think ill start off with a sled a hand auger a jig rod couple tip ups bait hooks weights cooler chairs thermos ohh and cant forget the number 1 BEEEEEERRRRRR preferably budweiser haha
  23. Hey guys so my cycle goes like this. Bass fish from late march to September, The hunt deer with bow up until the 15th of December then I have nothing to do outdoors wise so I think I am gonna pick up ice fishing as another hobby since it is very popular here in NH. Any tips or guides for me being a new guy at the sport anything is good. Thanks -Mike
  24. I have a box of zoom horny toads so should i just rig them like with a 2/0 ewg worm hook with no weight
