  1. I have 200 bucks to spend on fishing lures so im gonna get 4 black, red, white, chartreuse KVD squarebill crankbaits. 4 black, red, white, chartreuse KVD spinner baits. 4 packs of zoom 7in curly tail worms in Black with blue flake,Red with black flake, White, and Some type of really bright color like charteuse maybe like green on orange Will this cover my basic needs of fishing the shallows and other areas???
  2. Another question for you all the 3 baits I use are spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and trigged rubber worms. I use 4 colors white, red, black, chartreuse. Now my real question is how many should i Have of the crankbaits and spinnerbaits?? i no im gonna get 4 1 of each color for both is that enough though??

  5. Hey guys I am looking for some tips on how to find bass in shallow water. since i love fishing shallow water bout 4-8ft of water and I usually catch decent fish. I am just looking for every ones output on the subject of fishing shallows?? If you have any tips please post them. Thanks - Mike
  6. Another question for all of you when should i start fishing deeper water time wise because i usually fish the shallows all day but i only have luck during the morning and night so i figured like during the day there on those points but what time abouts??
  7. That was very informative so by looking at the maps what I got from it was basically the bunched up lines mean a steeper drop off and when theres more or less space in between them thats more open or gradually changing depth so what i should look for is places where depths are changing from shallow to deep realtively fast like a 5 -15 foot steep kinda thing and look for baitfish on those points because thats where theyll be?? is that what that video is implying
  8. so points as in if theres a piece of land that juts out from the shoreline like rather than just being straight go over it with the finder and look for drop offs?? kinda thing or am i getting the wrong idea
  9. Hi guys im wondering how someone fishes deep water during midday i usually fish shoreline cover during the morning and dusk but during the day fish arent usually holding up there so from what ive heard is the bass go deep but i have no clue where to start i do have a fish finder which I know will make it easier just any general tips on fishing deep water and where the fish might be during the midday will help thanks
  10. Fishing is defiantelly my number one lol but i love the outdoors in general thats why i wanna pick up hunting ohh so i could buy arrows and then just buy broad head tips i see another thing is scouting any guides on that or some place that would give me like the low down on it
  11. Seems Legit and ive decided that i dont know if ill start hunting this season but maybe just get my accuracy and everything down pact then when spring turkey season comes around go out and try my skills out then
  12. So PSE has good recurve setups?? would they sell them on basspro website?? also what type of arrows shouldi get as a beginner i no there are 2 diffrent types practice ones and hunting ones
  13. I think i might invest in a recurve does anyone know a good beginner recurve setup that is fairly cheap also not to get ahead of myself but what should i do if i do end up getting a dear??
  14. I havent looked into the ground blinds much but I hear they are effective
  15. Thank you for the birthday wish haha but yes I have been trying to get into the spinner bait more because i here there good for covering a lot of water but still during the midday fish go deeper and i find the spinner bait hard to fish in deeper water haha I just need to practice more im assuming and I have to get my gear more organized
  16. I am fishing on lakes I have a v hull boat with a 6hp 2 stroke johnson i am fishing for mostly largemouth and i like to fish all day but during the day i rarely get fish bigger than a pound due to the fact i dont really have a clue where to go and i started back with the basics im using crankbaits spinnerbaits and rubber worms t rigged as in curly tail 7 in worms with 2/O hooks i gave up on wacky worms they were doing well but i lost interest because they were way to slow and i have much better luck with crankbaits and the rubber worms usually do 10x better anyway if anyone can give me help it would be great
  17. So my main area i should be focused on is finding the bass but that is another thing I struggle with because i usually just fish shallows and docks structures close to shore i really dont no how to get on bass
  18. Aright guys well ive been a little overwhelmed with fishing on what lures and stuff i should use rods reels everything so i want to get back to basics start fresh if i was to start from scratch in your opinion what luresand or soft plastics and what rods should i get i really am just looking to be able to catch more fish more consistently
  19. My uncle hunts but not around where i live so its hard but i defiantelly will look into it more do you know of any good websites??
  20. Yeah I think I will buy used seems legit and also would you recommend for a person like me beginner to still hunt and walk on foot or shoot from a treestand??
  21. My budget is about 80-100 bucks if there is a nice baitcaster that will fit that and fit my needs for all around good i would love to know.
  22. Yeah I like the senkos a lot like thats the reason why there like the only bait i fish basically because you can somewhat power fish senkos if you think about it throw it out wait till it hits the bottom real in slack if theres not a fish on reel it up throw it again repeat so you cover a lot of water but if your like me and you like to sit back and relax and just throw it out check reel throw haha theres that way to but the other 2 lures im interested in are crankbaits and spinnerbaits when i wanna cover a lot of water.
  23. yes i am going to be hunting deer and really 500 to start wow thats alot haha but ill see what i can scrum up i just want to start hunting give me something to do in the fall slash beginning of winter seeing as how fishng dies down after september
  24. What would you say for a reel??
