Well Spring is approaching, last year I lost a lot of Jerkbaits to the toothy critters. So this year I was thinking about trying out a leader. Does anyone else use a leader? Does it take away any of the action?

If I am in a tournament situation and I fill up my live well, I will usually switch over to a 6 or 7 inch to weed out the smaller fish.

My father always told me; "patience is a virtue". When working a jig it depends on what time of the year it is. Strike King makes some pretty nice jigs. As for worms, Gary Yamamoto Senko is pretty good place to start!

I just put all my rods away for the year, and this is the first time ever I put my rods in the Furnace room. Is this a good or bad idea?

Any one do this? I've lost way to many hollow body frogs to pike because of there teeth cutting my line. So I am thinking of putting a leader on my frog rod. If anyone else does this, please explain to me you're setup!

What hollow body frog did you purchase? You can always order them online! I would take a look at LIVETARGET Frogs or Spro frogs. But I like throwing plastics because it doesn't burn a hole in my pocket

Haven't posted here in a while! But I just thought I would share my morning with you guys! I got an early start trying to see if the top water was on! Surely it was! I was on a private lake an started were there was some fallen down tree's and weeds. Had one blow up and missed it! After about an hour of working that spot it was time to move. I went to the over side of the lake where it was really really weedy. I threw a Stanley Ribbit frog through there for about another hour and just thought it wasn't my morning! God works in crazy ways an the last 10 minutes fished I managed to hook up on 2 great fish!

Ouch that look like it killed, hope I never do that
