  1. I thought the pond behind my house only had small bass until i pulled my pb 8# bass out of it. Try fishin from any stretch of bank that is higher off the water than the rest and fish down through the grass that seems to be the most productive spots for me. Keep tryin there are almost always some big fish.
  2. I use the BPS Deer trail daypack $20. The bottom front compartment holds 8-10 bags of plastics, the top front holds megastrike scent and KVD line conditioner and inside can hold 3 3700s and a camelback all for $20.
  3. I use the plano box for terminal tackle, it has labeled spots for 1/0-6/0 hooks as well as room for specialty hooks and packaged hooks.
  4. I keep them in original package in a spiderwire binder with 10 pages and 2 packages per page.
  5. Try rigging your plastics backwards and put the egg sinker on the hook, no worries about line damage and gives the bass something a little different.
  6. Just saw BPS has a messenger style bag in the size i need for 20$ im gonna give that a go and see how it works. Thanks for the input guys.
  7. I like the look of the AZ3 but how big are the flambeau 3003 containers compared to the Plano 3700?
  8. I'm looking to stream line my tackle so I'm carrying just the things i use and not everything i own lol. I'm looking for somthing that holds 2-3 3700 sized boxes vertically with plenty of pockets for scents other misc. items for 50$ or less. For my plastics i was looking at the Plano Guide series worm binder does anyone use it and how do you like it?
  9. Before he passed away my uncle was was a trucker and avid fisherman, and his handle was sundance so thats what i picked in memory of him.
  10. Im loking for a rod holder that will hold at least 5 rods and mounts inside on the roof. i have a 05 ford explorer btw.
  11. I like Northstar, I got my first jig fish and PB with one of their Black series and haven't put them down since, but iv heard nothin but praise for Seibert either.
  12. I had the handel tighten up on my pq try tearing it down and cleaning and oiling it that fixed the problem for me.
  13. Got my pb at 6# on a 3/8 oz northstar black series in brown craw plus it was my first bass on a jig.
  14. I'd have to say Texas rig is the most effective. It's weedless and you can use a verity of plastics sending on conditions and it can be fished at any depth.
  15. Megastrike original.
  16. I didnt join him with the cranks and poppers because this is the first year if fished the t-rig so im trying to get alot of practice with that. Ill try the heavier weight next time and if it doesnt help ill start chuckin the crancs and poppers.
  17. I know the general consensus on the trig is to use the lightest weight possible but my brother was out fishing me 2 to 1 at a pond the other day using popers and a small crank bait. Would using a heavier weight to make the bait drop faster get more reaction strikes or would that just kill the baits action and get me less strikes?
  18. Is the pb&j black series backordered? I dont have an optio to add to cart but it says its still available.
  19. Plano makes a 3700 flipsider box that should work well with jigs.
  20. To help narrow it down the cover is mostly grass and the water is normally just stained.
  21. I won the northstar facebook contest to recieve 10 percent off my total purchase and need help with which jigs to get. The water i fish is from lightly stained to muddy and has mostly weeds and trees with some rock rocky areas. Which jig styles would work best for this type of cover and what are some of ya'lls favorite colors for this kind of water?
  22. I think its a great idea although you might add a misc. sub forum for stuff like tackle bags and other accessories.
  23. i alway leave 2 cent. brakes on unless its windy then i go to 4 or 6 as needed, for the mag breaks i set the the spool tension a little loose for better casting distance then use the mag. breaks to to keep the spool from over running at the end of the cast.
  24. The abu garcia vengance and veritas, bps corbonlight and extream, st croix mojo, rage, and premire are all good roods in that price range. For line you cant go wrong with yo-zuri hybrid in #12 test.
  25. Try fishing spinnerbaits with trailer hooks and then trailers and see what works best for you.
