I got skunked today also. I knew it would happen at Paola so I never got a rod out. Lol

I know Melvern was TUFF on me and Sizzle Thursday but sitting at the dinner table and eating the Walleye I caught, I can barely remember the whitecaps and having to leave because Sizzles suit was only rated up to 100mph.

I was just taking everyone for a ride, never got a rod out.

I mounted the Jackplate after the transducer and I know it's in the way but other than that...... Opinions?

I'm with you 100%. First we are going to need a tach. It's vital to know the RPM at WOT, then we will need a GPS speed. I'd try for a top speed with different trim angles. The problem with just throwing a larger prop on it is if its not over revving now it probably won't turn enough RPMs to gain any speed and it may have holeshot problems and actually loose top speed.

Secondly you say you need a new prop either way, how bad is yours? Is it stainless? Just courious

My dad has a few farm Ponds. One of them he had dug he stocked catfish in and he feeds them. They are now fairly big and you can fish it almost anytime and catch one in the 10-13+ range within an hour. I can't say it's not a great time landing a fish like that but wiggling a worm in front of a feeder bores me to death I'd imagine any "Trophy" lake would be about the same? I guess what I'm trying to say is you leave with no sense of accomplishment.

That one was a neat toy but it didn't shoot that good. That target was from one of the first times I shot it but after bedding the stock... It didn't get consistently better than 1/2" @50yds? I still have a 17hmr that has shot a group under .50 @100yds :0
