I went to BPS and tried on the $240? Mustang and the $79 BPS that is made by Onyx. I ended up liking the fit of the BPS one so I got it. It's a manual/automatic and is actually fairly light and comfortable.

No You need to just have DVT build it for you. I've built a few and if you are only going to build one rod I wouldn't bother doing it myself if your mainly doing it to save money. That said I'm having DVT build a couple rods for me now.

How did they stock it if it was frozen?

They are all made by Megabass but the ones with the straight eyes were made for the JDM. I'd compare them to a Shimano Scorpion, they make a comparable reel for us in the US but since the Scorpion isn't readily available it will bring more money.

As far as do you need a box full of Megabass, I'd be lying if I told you I didn't have 25 more Megabass lures on the way from Japan to my house. All with straight eyes.

Technically a Megabass isin't a Megabass. The ones we get in the US have the "down eyes" and the ones from Japan have straight eyes. A lot of pepole think the Japanese version has a better attitude in the water. This is a straight eyes in the Deadly Black Illusion color, (not the same as the Deadly Black they make now). They have a couple like it on EBay now for $55-65 each!

After checking the KDWP site, I don't think a class V inflatable counts unless it's being worn. That means I'd have to have another life vest out because Kansas law requires you to have one readily available (not stored)

Another question do you tether your vest to your engine kill? I'd also like to find a nice tether. I don't foresee ever having a problem, but my Triton does Chine Walk so I'm sure I should get a tether and a Automatic vest.
