Show of hands, Who brings a gun with them on the boat? What do you carry Rifle or pistol and why? I know some of you have Gaters and I'd probably bring an AR on a 1 point sling! lol I just always figured everyone had a gun in the boat so lets see who does and WHO DOES NOT.

Let me clear this up, 90% of the time I don't carry. And if I do carry to Walmart, or on a bike ride ... I won't let it show. If I'm on my boat the rules change. I am a lot less likely to care if it prints once I have left the crowded boat ramp I don't care if you see my gun or not.I am not trying to say I want anyone to see it because that makes everyone uncomfortable but I just don't care as I figure everyone has a gun in the boat. on the bright side it keeps people from fishing too close to me LOL

Hey Chris, how's that finger? It was GREAT to meet everyone and fish the wind. We did Ok, but our biggun was only a 15'' White. lol I hit the State lake today for a couple hours. It was just me and my kids (2&5 years old) so I didn't get a chance to fish a lot but I got this one and a catfish that was around 5# If anyone wants to fish at the state lake hit me up.

I normally carry a SC XD9MM with Trijicons on it in a Crossbreed holster but my 4" 45XD fits the same holster. I had a LCP in a crossbreed but I traded it for a Kayak. The officer that taught my CCL told us it's not a bad thing to let it print. Let EVERYONE know you have it It may solve problems before they occur and it's legal to print.

It's a great reel at $50-60 and a good reel at $61+ but goes south soon after that.

However I do have 2 trollers on my boat and some days I don't use my Outboard. the back tm is nice if the person in the back gets snaged he can just back up and deal with it and I can keep fishing.

If you already have 1 nice tm spend the cash on a outboard.

I call BS!!! I called on Monday about a defective rod and it's Friday and I haven't even got a call back yet.

Last year Lew's was having swag rebates with the purchase of reels... I sent in 3 receipts from reels I had bought on Monday and had my stuff by Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!!! BTW the same day I sent in to Abu to get a couple of sweatshirts and it took months to get them. I'm about to send off for some Croix Rage swag, anyone want to guess how long that will take?

If you ever come to Kansas I'd let you try both. As far as the mag breaks go I ALMOST never use them. I hate mag breaks. However on a windy day throwing into the wind Sometimes I add some mag break instaid of clicking another cent. break. If you like the Shimanno better you like the Shimanno better, The Curado a great reel!

One of my local lakes that I fish on , I fish from sunrise to 9-10am and then I come back for the last 2 hours of daylight.

I was going to suggest a TP but once you have one you realize how bad the rest of your reels are.
