  1. Almost anything will work during the spawn. You just have to get it in the bed and make it look harmful to the fish protecting the nest. Lizards Rage Craws Spinnerbaits Tubes Topwater and Many more
  2. I saw their eyes are different but both the Honey B and the Footloose look very similar. It will cost you more and will be harder to find the Bagley's if you were looking to get more of them. It's weird that Bandit has almost the exact same color patterns though.
  3. They are definitely the Bandit Footloose... I couldn't find your colors with the Footloose's bill but it is the Bandit Footloose.
  4. I'd stay away from the Okuma reels. I'd either go with a Pflueger Trion, a Pflueger President, or an Abu Garcia Cardinal.
  5. Bandit Footloose
  6. As a co-angler and a kayak fisherman, putting them in planos is a lot more organized when in your kayak or somebodies boat.
  7. No way.... A 2 Gallon bag is also a LOT bigger than a plano 3600. The advantages of using plano boxes is that it is very easy and fast to find the bait you are looking for. I don't feel like searching through 50 bags of beavers to find the bait I am looking for. It get's even harder when you have a color of a bait you are looking for but you have multiple colors for that bait. Every time you look inside your ziplock bag the arrangement of baits has changed. I can't waste time during a tourney. With my plano boxes I have them pretty much memorized and everything is easy to find. Works for me.
  8. I just put them in a plano box.
  9. If your bait looks like every other forage bass has seen, what would make them want to spend the time to chase it down and eat it. Maybe the orange belly is more appealing to them. Either way I don't get why you are making such a big deal over it, obviously it "makes sense" because it catchs fish and many companies use it.
  10. You need the heavy line for shock strength like stated above.
  11. Yeah.... close thread for a line that fishes like a rubber band.

    That's great, congrats!
  13. I have heard that the fish can hear some sort of clicking noise from a few people on TV before. I don't know if it is true but flipin4bass has a point, you got your quote from LOWRANCE, the manufacturer isn't going to tell the full truth if any truth at all.
  14. Not a big fan of the powerbait smell either.
  15. Yeah, I had a feeling they did that because I saw it had review already. Still proves my point.
  16. I haven't smelled the chompers but the Powerteam Texas Rig Jig is terrible smelling. I prefer a non-scented or coffee-scented bait.
  17. I'd get the elite tech 6'9" for $80. It is a great deal full price and is a steal at $80! I have a Sahara 1000FD and am considering buying that rod for it.
  18. Carbonlite unless you want a cranking or slow rolling reel.
  19. I'd put the Citica above the Orra. Otherwise I think the top 3 would be Citica, Pro Qualifier, and Revo S. If you are looking for a light reel the carbonlite is also a great choice.
  20. Not sure if I understand the question but wouldn't that be the same with any hardbait with a split ring?
  21. Sorry to say that you are not completely true on that statement. Although there was no "magic bait", TW added the Gambler Ugly Otter to their site the day after Chris Lane used it to win the Classic.
  22. I caught a hammer-handle while I was there but left after it started pouring rain. I should be out on my kayak by April.
  23. I don't think it will make a difference. You can wrap the reel foot with electrical tape to close the gap.
  24. I can't find the question. EDIT: Yes, that will work fine.
