  1. Try a Yum Money Hound
  2. Call BPS, you would be surprised at the amount of parts they have.
  3. Are you skin hooking the tube? That helps a lot more than an exposed hook but the worm weight will pick up some weeds. It could be that you are getting bit by panfish or a dink and the bait is too big. I can't think of one answer to this.
  4. The hook size isn't nearly as important as the type of hook. That being said I have use 6/0 hooks on 4 in senkos without missing many hooksets. I use the 6/0's on all of my worms. I have also used the Gama EWG 4/0 hooks on my worms and didn't see a difference. I think it is mostly personal preference but you don't want a 1/0 on a 10 in worm or anything I would personally recommend a 3/0 or 4/0 for 3-6 in worms and 5/0 or 6/0 for 7-10 in worms. For craws and creatures I like a 2/0 to 4/0 hook depending on the size.
  5. I disagree because you can have the best tackle money can buy and get easily out fished by someone with one lure and a zebco combo.
  6. Maybe try a different hook, or set it home harder. I don't know what else to say, sorry.
  7. I agree, Presentation>Shape>Color>Luck
  8. It seems too good to be true but even if it snaps first time out, still a good deal.
  9. Well I fish murky water and have had most success on a green pumpkin GYCB 4 in Senko. Now most of you wouldn't think this is a murky water color would you.
  10. Just try out different colors until you find one that works.
  11. There is no all around color for murky water. You got to try different colors and let the fish tell you what they want.
  12. Baby Rage Craw, texas rigged with a 4/0 EWG hook and an unpegged 1/4 worm weight.
  13. Ah, I didn't see anything different in the BPS description besides the guides and grip.
  14. Watermelon red worked great for me in really stained water. It helps if you cast it out and let it sit on the bottom for a while before reeling.
  15. Then share the difference, because by a quick look at specs that's all I saw.
  16. The shock has the split-grip and the lightning rod has full cork grip. Only real difference.
  17. Watermelon Red
  18. It's a good $30 rod. But unless you are topwater fishing with it, you need sensitivity or you will miss soft bites.
  19. No, it sounds like his friend has an ego going and if he gives in to using the same thing he won't hear the end of it. Try texas rigging a rage craw or wacky worming a senko if you have not tried.
  20. I am not a fan of either. Why are you fond of these?
  21. Same here
  22. Seems to fast unless you burn them.
  23. Nope I use my saltwater reels in freshwater.
  24. I think spinning is better for shore fishing. It's much easier to cast and manage around trees and bushes. But that's my opinion.
