Rage Tail Craws

Featured Replies

Ive been noticing pictures of people using them. Is the smaller baby craw good or the bigger version? Whats a good setup for t-rigging them for weeds?

I use the baby rage craw on a shaky head and it can be DEADLY! The Rage Craw is my personal favorite and I use it t-rigged with a 3/16 oz weight and a 4/0 EWG hook. The Rage Lobster is great with a weighted hook too.

what are good colors for muddy water or really murky or stained water?

Watermelon Red

Junebug and Black n Blue are hard to beat when the water is stained and muddy but the Falcon Lake Craw color has worked for me recently as well. When the water is tanic stained, Okeechobee Craw gets bit often... I think fish like the Blue Saphire on the belly of it. Hope that helps!

Watermelon red worked great for me in really stained water. It helps if you cast it out and let it sit on the bottom for a while before reeling.

Black and blue or junebug are good in dirty water. I like a 4/0 gamakatsu superline EWG hook with a 1/4oz weight if I'm in sparse cover, heavier as the cover requires.
