  1. With the scorecard(if you used it at the purchase).... you can look it up online also, print/email it, which would give you proof of purchase for abu. The warranty is 3 years with abu. I had a rod warrantied with no receipt before that was a gift and I didn't even pay the $9.95 fee they usually charge for shipping. You will also probably get to keep the broken rod. You can even get the tip repaired on that locally cheap and come out ahead. Ive never had any problem with their service, its been nothing short of excellent with me.

Ive bought their stick baits and have had great luck with them, I usually buy them in the sale bin at Gander
  3. If unhappy with it based on length, do they have any shorter lengths? Most people will use a 6ft6 to 7ft3 for general fising 6ft6 to 7ft1 mainly the most generic, general all around advice is 7ft mh
  4. I was at dsg and handled the lexa and the symetre The lexa feels smooth and solid. The bail flipped over effortlessly with the handle. It made me consider buying one for inshore use. The symetre felt good but the lexa had a better overall feel that was noticeable The supreme looks good (havent handled one) I think it was 119, the symetre was 109 they give you 20 off with a used reel and you can add another 10 dollar coupon to it. Im sure itll much cheaper on the auction site tho(the stradic fj is 130 on there) They may have them in store in your area for you to test also, its not real world but it does help along side online reviews.
  5. You can buy zoom or Stanley. They screw into the tip of the bait with a screw lock and the hook goes through the bait, you can skin hook the hook tip.
  6. Glad to hear you love the reel. I plan to buy a chronarch at some point but may need one of each size. I also want a core and cumara, a man can dream cant he.
  7. I fish a few often that Im allowed to, mainly for snakeheads. The best part is when a golfer told me I cant fish the course when the Ranger, tenants and resort gave me instructions and precautions. Office people in the clubhouse say fish on the residents side, stay off a certain area that is considered private property, etc. I follow the rules. Just the other day *golfer pulls up from 900 miles away* "you cant fish here" Me " I always fish here".....blind stare golfer "uh...well a tournament is going on here today, just don't want you to get hurt or hit by a ball" That is a much different statement from you cant fish here....I told him thank you for the consideration and went on my way, but you could see he felt a bit stupid after my reply, which didn't even give much info to him.

  9. It can def handle a bass for those on the fence. Someone on another forum that uses them for inshore and caught a 40inch snook
  10. They probably made a typo initially which I also thought upon reading and now have updated it thanks for confirming
  11. check walmart, they have both the regular and shock in 7ft mh for 40 bucks I have used/owned both and have had no problems with either. Ive spent more on certain rods and have been less satisfied.
  12. I fish from the bank so I tend to throw it parallel with the shore which has paid off big time for me in certain lakes with spawning fish. Ill also throw it in open water areas at times around blowups and chased bait fish. If water is shallow I tend to try to cover all areas of it with a spook as long as I wont get hooked on vegetation. Lastly If the water is just a bit higher than the weeds, Ill try it to see if I can get a fish hiding in the grass.
  13. I used it with a craw that I never caught anything on with numerous attempts and I caught a fish on it. I only made one and lost it somewhere, hopefully not in anyone's foot.
  14. I have had none since using them in comparison to a regular wg/ ewg hook, where Ive had many
  15. Heres a video of Dean Rojas talking about it but if mods choose to delete it thats understandable. Other than the video there are no pics. Looks extremely easy to walk.
  16. I like mono and yozuri for treble baits
  17. you got yours on a discount
  18. I've thrown 50lb braid/12lb yz/12lb flouro/14lb mono all with great success. It seems I have more issues with type spinner bait used than line to be honest when testing.
  19. They had a teaser the other day and today showed off the newly redsigned reel. Probably cost.. 2 arms, one leg and 3 toes, The full reveal! 20. You will/should enjoy this vid if you havent seen it
  21. ok, the pics are big since the resolution is mega huge. Tapatalk would make this work much easier as on other v bulletin sites if this sites format worked. I can upload them to one of my image hosting sites later. Ill mess around with the settings, thanks man.
  22. I know exactly what you mean, that sure does work. Ive had some where Ive had to annoy the pee out of them but I didn't feel it was worth it at the time, it was scorching hot yesterday and it was in direct 5PM sun. Im not sure if you saw the video I posted of my friend but he had to agitate that one in order for it tho actually bite after a few pity pat attempts. I may try using a craw next time because someone has been having good luck pulling them off the bottom with them. I figure I can buzz it and bottom bounce it if need be.
  23. Ok, I did/tried that and nada......I dont think Ive gotten that to work in a long time
