  1. Why? Hes like the Ultimate Warrior of Fishing when cutting a promo
  2. He is misinformed. You can print the page and bring it to the service desk and they can get it sorted out. I bought a combo from there once and the guy went into the catalog to get the correct sku to ring it up at the regular fw fishing desk.
  3. Since you are in Miami, you may have a local place selling the Omens, Gander in west palm sells them but thats a bit far from you. Shipping is free and faster than ordering from Tackle Warehouse but youd pay tax since Gander is in Fl. I have an *** and a carbonlite, the *** is nice and sensitive, but IMO the carbonline handle is more comfortable overall and has a longer handle. Im 6ft3 so maybe its due to my handsize. I get some irritation after a while from the *** so its my Jig rod now since I wont be making 1000000 casts frog fishing for snakehead. You have basspro near by so its easy access for you to get a combo and customer service is pain free. Id suggest seeing if a local shop sells an *** and then seeing if you like the feel of it. Id probably get the combo just because of ease, the rod is nice and customer service is issue free.
  4. Did you use the pq already or has it been bought? If you buy the pq and carbonlite as a combo you'd save some coin. If not proceed with other options that you choose.
  5. I came in here expecting a hamburger, sees a baby, Awesome. Congratulations!!!
  6. Thats a first, hopefully they take care of that.
  7. Ive never had a problem with it, thats my all purpose line so it gets used for top water, but then again Im not pausing baits for 1-2 mins so I cant comment on sinking.
  8. Live target frogs, boy was I mad. They seem to have dropped the price a little. I did lose a live target crank my friend gave me but I was able to retrieve it because there was enough braid floating, bad batch of PP.
  9. fish ranger has them for 49.99 765CEF- Measuring 7'6” long, this is the longest rod in the Diesel lineup. The added length and muscular power rating makes this an ideal rod for flipping, pitching, punching in thick cover, as well as doubling as a nice swimbait stick. Model#: 765 Swimmer/ Flip MH C Ex-Fast - Length: 7'6" - Power: Medium Heavy - Power Rating: 5 Line Wt: 12lbs. - 25lbs. - Lure Wt: 1/4oz. - 1-11/2oz. - Action: Ex-Fast - Handle: 3
  10. We could argue all day but that was his only baitcasting rod at the time and it worked for everything, not everyone has multiple setups for techniques. I had one rod and reel until I came to this site myself. As for frogging, we fish for bullseye snakeheads more than anything, caught tons of those and many bass in the process. It works just fine and held up in South Florida slop. I have more combos and longer fishing rods than he had and he caught as many or more fish than I did on many occasions. proofs in the pudding, 6ft9 mh micro
  11. I have the same rod, havent gotten to fish it alot but my buddy also had one and he used it for everything from cranking to frogging
  12. Powell Casting Rod 6'8" Med Hvy EF 683C 683 CEF. Powell's 6'8" Medium-Heavy Casting Rod is an ideal rod for spinnerbaits, small jigs, or senkos. This rod can effectively fish a wide selection of baits. The sensitive extra-fast action rod tip allows for accurate casts and quick solid hooksets. this looks like your best choice, no medium choices unfortunately
  13. All that yellow tape, looks like the 1st 48.
  14. Each manufacturer has specifics. I think daiwa samurai is almost true to advertised rating from what I remember reading. Some companies are double. Answer, it varies.
  15. Noticed it going on now when going to the site. Heads up, some decent deals and free shipping over 39.99
  16. sealed carbon drag (arbor) vs oiled felt (president), salt water approved, comes with 2 spools, supposedly casts farrrrrrrrrrrr from reports the box says 8 bearing system.. 7+anti reverse. , feels smooth
  17. its higher up on the product chain, has a sealed carbon drag and is salt water approved as well at 30 bucks you are ahead of the game, its still 80 on tw
  18. I did the same but didnt have any coupons on me, Ill get the receipt adjusted tho. I forgot so you reminded me, thanks.
  19. The camo hid the table so well, I thought the products were floating, luckily I noticed the table legs. Mindblown
  20. Be careful out there if fishing, pics were on the news
  21. Check your local DSG (Dicks Sporting Goods). http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11390515 arbor available online try asking your local store if any in stock Heres a quick shot of the table in a local store and they added other things since yesterday. Citica 200 e6 is about 75 bucks, Lews Speed Spins for 29.99 as well as acurist pt spinning reels in 30/40 size for about 37 bucks they also had orras, ambassaduer 5500cs, and more. Check your local store
  22. How sensitive of a rod would you need for this? I would imagine the feel would be noticeable of a fish that big on a moving bait. Im asking not sharing a sarcastic opinion. Do they take them subtly at times or is it hard to tell 5oz from 5lbs 5oz?
