  1. I'm not from mid tn and haven't fished Preist but I have fished Dale Hollow. It's extremely clear and has some good spots in it. It was several years ago and I fished in winter using float n fly, from what I hear they do a lot of night fishing in summer. My guess it's due to boat traffic and water clarity. It's not much but all I got. Good luck on your move.
  2. You might want to look at Dixie Custom Rods, btw they use batson blanks. I don't own one but might in the future. There are options out there. Good luck in college.
  3. If I wasn't JACKED before I am NOW
  4. That is the way I was leaning. Will try to get an IMX for my blades. I'm not wealthy by any means but my fishing time is hard to come by. So I want to make the most of what I get
  5. Thanks RW I just ebayed my way into a new 783C. But I really need a spinnerbait rod What do ya think about the 782 and again GLX or IMX. Oh btw it was the GLX
  6. Is the GLX worth the extra $$? How does the IMX stack up
  7. Thinking about one of these. Any suggestions?
  8. Sending my order for 2. I just hope enough people know & care enough show our support for the Worlds Greatest Gamefish
  9. Any place, any bait, any time. Smallmouth what a RUSH
  10. I have a Yamaha 4-stroke 50 on a 17' Nova. It's 5 yrs. old & no problems, I even pull a tube for the kids. With all the money you save on fuel you get to feed the bait monkey more often
  11. Concrats on your retirement I'm sure you might have a hobby or two to keep from being bored Buy something for me anything will do & when you catch your first of many on it, think of us less fortunate ;D I drove by bps at Pearl a few weeks ago, couldn't stop though at work oops there is that awful word really Best of LUCK in ALL YOU DO
  12. Looks in great shape Conrats & good luck!
  13. According to the experts, that leaves me out, that the fnf is intended for water temp. 50 & below with clear water a plus. It is intended to imitate dying baitfish. Yes it will work with LM & spots or any fish suspended. Find the right depth, usually 8-12'. I fished Dale Hollow last yr. with Bob Coan & caught SM, spots, trout & bluegill & saw a nice LM fall to it as well. Hope this helps.
