Optimum Double Diamond Swimbait
I'll find out soon, just got a couple of packs on my last Tackle Warehouse order. I thought they might make a nice trailer for a swim jig or a sworming hornet fish head spinner.

favorite/most productive lucky craft crankbait colors
For the RC series I like the #02 Copper Green Shad, #05 Purple Perch,#11 Ghost Minnow and the #09 American Shad. I have the #12 Tomato Shad & the #72 Sexy Chartreuse shad on order, I've used similiar colors in other baits and I'm confident that they'll be a productive addition to my arsenal.

Mad Maxx, Spro Killer?
Thanks for sharing, looks like a well designed bait.

RC 1.5's, 2.5's, and 3.5's on sale $9.94
I just ordered 10 more last night, it helps having 60$ credit on my BPS rewards card. I added a few back-ups along with a couple of new colors including the sexy shad & tomatoe colors. This has been my favorite shallow crank since it came out.

Jackall Baits
I've also been very impressed with most of their hardbaits. The ones that I would reccomend would include the Muscle Deep 15 Plus cranks(my favorite as well), the Cherry Zero footer, Squad Minnow jerkbait, the Bonnie walking bait and the TN 70 lipless bait. I've been a little underwhelmed with the Giron, maybe I haven't fished it right but I seem to do better with other small swimbaits like the SK King Shad, Spro BBZ-1 & the River To Sea V Joint Wake Minnow. There are a few of their baits I've yet to try, but overall I've been very impressed with most of the products that I've sampled so far. I'm curious if anyone has tried the Mudsucker, looks similiar to the Lucky Craft Gunfish.

New Cranks to test
I just picked up 2 Bomber Switchback cranks and 2 of the Rapala DT20 cranks. The DT 20 has the same body profile as the DT16 however it has a weighted lip that's little wider & longer than the DT 16. I plan on trying the Switchback in the no rattle position. Since it's now the season for deep diving cranks I will have to give these baits a serious test run to see if they merit a place in my rotation. I also just picked up a few of the Strike King BPS swim jigs, they look like a very well designed bait.

Your opion on the swim senko
I've tried them but I prefer the Reaction Innovations Skinny Dipper.

Looking at BPS Crankin Stick
I use 3, but I throw a lot of cranks. I use 2 of the 7' Medium rods, one spooled with 15# Yozuri Hybrid for shallow crankin', the other with 12# floro for medium sized cranks like the Dt10 & Wiggle Warts to get them a little deeper. I prefer the Medium action rods for almost all my cranks except for hard pulling baits like the DD 22's & DT 16's I use a 7'6" MH, for most cranks the medium rod lets the baits wiggle a little more, the MH in my opinion deadens the action of certain baits. I also use a 6'9" spinning rod with 8# Yozuri Hybrid, this is for light baits like the RC 0.5 & Shad Raps and some other tiny cranks that I throw from time to time.

3:16 Baby Wake
Anyone tried this yet ? I was thinking about the AYU color.

Mattlure's hardgills...... WOW!!!!!!!!!!
I'll probably cave in and get one eventually, I already have a couple of the soft baby bass baits. I'm hoping that Matt might come out with a little smaller hard gill bait around the size and weight of a Strike King Shad which I can throw on regular equipment. That said, his lures are a work of art and the detail is absolutely stunning.

What crankbaits to use around weeds?
As the Natural mentioned shallow runners are a great tool for this application, one of the best and most affordable options is the Mann's Baby 1 Minus. There are number of wake style cranks out there as well such as the Excalibur Wake , Ima Roumba, Jackall Cherry Zero footer, Mann's etc that would be a great addition as well. Another alternative if you have't already tried it is a swim jig, my favorite is the 1/4 oz. Outkast with a Yamamoto 5" single tail grub but there are many others that will also do a great job for you.

Ringworm Question
A few years back my go to rig for summer fishing was a 4" power ringworm on a 3/16 oz mojo rig, great rig for numbers. I haven't used it as much in recent years but I have not doubt that this will still produce.

hula grubs
The hula grub is effective with both lightweight and heavier jigheads. I prefer to use the heaviest jighead I can get away with, usually will use 1/4 - 1/2 oz, however there have been times when I've done well with 3/4 oz jigs. Even with a heavier jighead this bait will fall a little slower than a similiar weighted jig n' craw combo because they kicking legs on the Hula tend to slow the fall. I highly reccomend this bait to those who have a hard time fishing a regular skirted jigs because the fish tend to hold this bait longer aiding strike detection. This is definetely a 5 star lure, especially for clear water.

Not the favorite hot bait right now. Your all time favorite
Topwater baits, in general because of the fun factor. Close 2nd would be various types of jigs, it's always fun to give that big fish a hard hookset. In terms of numbers my most productive would be a Yellow Magic popper for the topwater and a 4" Green Pumpkin Yamamoto Spider grub on a 1/4 oz jighead.

Favorite Dropshot Plastics?
4" & 6" Roboworm Straight tail worms, Gulp leeches & minnows.

Pressured Presentations
Try a 3" Yum Dinger or similiar bait with 1/16 oz. Gamakatsu Gopher Mushroom jig with a # 1 hook, this has caught fish for me under the toughest of conditions. This combo has a slow death spiral on the way down that fish can't resist and with the small hook is surprisingly weedless.

mastered senko... whats next?
Shakeyhead might be a fun technique for you to learn, effective on largemouth too.

Bomber's Switchback Shad
It's offered exclusively through Bass Pro as far I can tell, I haven't tried them yet but like yourself I would be interested in reports from those who have.

TruTungsten swimbaits- 4"
I have one of the heavy sink models, it has a very realistic swimming motion. I've thrown it a couple of times for a total of app. 1 hour on the water, still waiting to catch my first fish on it but it's likely I just haven't used it at the right place & time. I still remain confident it will be a productive bait based on how it looks in the water.

Should i flip braid or flourocarbon? Whats the best braid
I have 4 heavy cover set-up that I use. I have one rod dedicated to Frog Fishing, I like 50# Spiderline Stealth braided line. I have 1 rod set-up with 20# Pline or XPS floro that I use for somewhat heavy cover T rigged plastics, normally I have a pegged 3/8 or 1/2 oz sinker. I have 2 other rods, 1 with a 3/4 oz pegged sinker and the other with a 1 oz pegged sinker, both of these I am fishing with 50# Spiderline Stealth. These 2 rods are for getting through even heavier grass, if it's real dense I may have to retie one of my heavy rods with a 1-1/4 or 1-1/2 oz sinker if neccesary. Generally speaking, 1/2 - 1 oz pegged sinkers will get the job done in most situations. I generally don't bring the rods with the heavier sinkers unless I'm fishing lakes with a lot of thick grass, milfoil etc. However when fishing these lakes I can be more effecient alternating rods as I see fit without having to constantly retie.

Bullet weights with Senkos
I have used weights ranging from 1/8 oz to 3/8 oz., works well as a T-rig worm. It's a good option for pitching into cover.

Pro Swimbaits paddletail tubes
I just ordered more of the paddletails, they said they would stick in a couple of Flukes to sample. I'll post my feedback when I get them wet, another thing I like is that their product is made in the USA.
