What To Throw On Weedy Bottom Lakes (Northern Lakes)
Most lakes around me in New Hampshire are weedy bottomed. I have always thrown things like senkos, Jigs, Texas Rig, Spinnerbaits and some other things. I was wondering if there are other things that I could try throwing that would work better. Thanks.

Opinions On Gen 3 Revo Stx
i really dont know weather ill keep it or not, now that I got home and read all the reviews and saw very mixed results. I wont have time to even test it so i dont know weather i should take a gamble or just go with the regular sx, which i've heard all good things.

Duckett Rod Actions
That is the reason that I am questioning buying another because they don't provide line, lure or taper, and no where around me carries duckett so I would blindly be purchasing and hoping it is what I like.

Duckett Rod Actions
Earlier this year i purchased my first duckett, I was so excited until i actually used it. The action of the rod was nothing like I envisioned, it was way too soft for my taste. I got the 7' 6" heavy. I was looking for a jig rod and I prefer a pretty fast tip for jigs, like an extra fast so I can snap it out of weeds. I was wondering should I give duckett another chance, and if so, what rod would you recommend for jigs out of the duckett lineup that has a faster tip. Thanks!

Most All Around Crankbait Rod?
I fish normally in all conditions, weeds, wood, rock. All the lakes around me have it all really.

Most All Around Crankbait Rod?
Like I said I never was really into crankbaits, so I don't really know what I would want. Whatever is better I guess

Most All Around Crankbait Rod?
I am looking to get into crankbait fishing more, and I'm looking to get a new rod over the winter for it. I don't have the money to get more than one rod for different size crankbaits, so I am looking for a rod that I can throw things like lipless cranks to square bills to deeper diving ( nothing over 10' really). What I am wondering is if I can get a rod to throw all of these things on. My max I can spend would be $120-130. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Anyone Have Any Luck In Southern Nh Yet? (4/6/12)
Ok so please excuse my rant that's about to go down, but banning all lead in NH is going to far. Here are my reasons, 1. Tungsten is more expensive than lead. 2. I myself would be getting rid of pretty much ALL or my jigs, except for 2. I have 2 full 3700 plano boxes full of lead jigs that i wouldn't be able to use as of 2016. Being 15 years old, I dont have a flow of money or the extra money to spend on tungsten. 3. I have been looking at tungsten jigs, but I have yet to find a brush jig. Has anyone else found one? I contacted siebert outdoors and asked if he was coming out with a brush jig, but he said he was having trouble making one. The selection of tungsten jigs is few for what i have found. These points are coming from my point of view and my opinions. Im not saying banning lead is bad, I am just pointing towards that banning ALL lead is going too far. I was somewhat ok with the previous law of banning all lead sinkers and jigs under an inch, but all lead is too far IMO

Dedicated Jig Rod
I am in the market for a new rod that I will dedicate almost entirely to jigs. I was wondering what length, power, and action rod would best suit jig fishing. Normally I am throwing jigs that range from 3/8oz to 1/2oz. I am normally fishing from shore (not owning a boat and only being 15), but I also fish tournaments that allow me to be on a boat. Thanks Guys! Also My budget is about $150 NOTE: A good amount of my budget comes from a TW giftcard

Help Me With A Dropshot Combo
I have been fishing my drop shots on a 6'8" med. xf St. Croix Mojo bass spinning rod, but that is the rod that i throw weightless plastics, wacky and other finesse things. So, to my story, today I was fishing a tournament and was killing them on a drop shot, but then the bite slowed down. The other angler on my boat was trowing a weightless senko and started catching fish. I really wanted too keep the drop shot on because it had been producing earlier, but at the same time i wanted to tie on a senko. So, I have decided that it is time to invest in a drop shot combo. I have a shimano sahara 1000 laying around at home, so I really just need a rod. For a budget I am looking to keep the price around 100$ but if necessary, I would be able to go to 130$ at the highest.

Ever Lost A Rod?
Just a few weeks ago i was fishing in a very small johnboat with my friend. I was in the back with my three rods. I as casting a jig and i caught one of the guides on one of my other rods and flung the it into the water. we were in 20 feet of water in a river. I was lucky enough to jab and catch the 2nd to last guide with the rod i had in my hand. In the whole process, i only filled half the boat with water. That was the closest i have ever came to loosing a rod.

Anyone Have Any Luck In Southern Nh Yet? (4/6/12)
Hey guys, Coming up this weekend, I am fishing a club tournament (NHJuniorBassmasters). The tournament is going to be on Lake Winnipeasauke. Having only fished off a dock on vacation here a few times, I have no clue about anywhere to fish. We will be launching in Moultonborough. What I want to know is are the bass in shallow or out deep and possibly some areas to try out. Thanks!
