  1. I had a pretty sweet fishing room coming together, but I got a new roommate so I had to give it up. But he is paying more then fishing is right now. Was so close of having it the way I wanted it. Even had a sign made up that said Barnes Bait and Tackle. I was going post pics when I was done but now its in a pile in my room.
  2. I thought about that. And sounds like a good ideal. I might look in to doing that. And that means I get to go buy more stuff!!! Sweet!!!
  3. Noted!! That sounds like some great advise!
  4. Ok this year is the frist year a fished the BFL. And I thought I would fish it as a co-angler for at lest the first year probably first couple of years. Mainly because their held on lakes I never fish and I'm still new to the tournament fishing. I own a bass boat were a normally have 12 rods set up and just a ton off tackle. I've read all the articles I could fine on co-angler and I just bring 5 rods and a medium to large tackle bag. Which first tournament I had pack full and next tournament less and even less on the one coming up this weekend. Probably could go to just a medium bag with no problem. But here is the problem I'm running in to. Before I tried to keep my boat as organize as I could. Every lure has its place ever box had a label. Be now I move my tackle back in forth between my boat tackle bag not everything finds its place. And frankly my boat seem to stay a mess these days. Just wanted some tips and advise on how mybe you do it or done it. It just seem I'm caring around tackle putting here putting it there and its slowly getting out of control.

  6. Awesome video!! Wouldn't expected any thing less!!
  7. Yeah by the dam you can see bottom about 17 to18ft but normally fish up around devil fork and visibility up there is about 8 to 10ft. I havnt used live crawfish sence I was a kid fishing in small creeks for smallmouth was great fun!!
  8. Yeah im on Greers I tried tubes and shaky head got one little one on the shaky head but mother nature step in and help me out about 2:00 it clouded up and the wind started blowing got 4 got keepers in 20 min my best five at 2:30 was 13.10 which I'm happy with I guess last weekend Mr bass of Arkansas tourny was won with 13.12 on Greers. But thanks for the tips! And bluebrid day does suck for me.
  9. Ok well im on the water as we speak. This morning had a good topwater bite. Caught a 4lber 2 3lber and one 2 lbs. But since then nothing that will measure. I pulled off the bank fishing some brush pile and humps with the c-rig and a-rig. I did catch a couple of nice hybrids on the a-rig. But I think my main problem in its noon not a cloud in the sky and no wind whatsoever! I'm on a deep clear lake were the cover is standing timber, rocks, and man made brush piles. That water temp is 68 and slowing raising. The air temp is 80+ (a humid 80+) I really struggle with this condition and just looking for any tips. Thanks
  10. I would check out the BFL. I'm sure they got a division there. It's my first year fishing it and I really like it. You can fish as co-angler and you don't even need a boat. I'm meet some great people their and made some real good friends. And you could find a local bass club threw the guy you fish with. But go to the FLW web page its find out more info on it.

I have fished all day with out a bit. Then with a hour of day light left I tore them up and sometime I tare them up in the morning and nothing the rest of day. Sometime when I go through a bad streak I go fishing in this small creek behind my grandma's house. Were your not going to catch anything over a pound but you catch a lot of fish as a little confidence booster I use light gear so I can feel a little fight. It's supper fun and gives you some confidence give it a try " Never give up"
