Id like to catch some Sauger, a buddy and I ran into guy fishing off the bank at the d**n a couple weekends that was fishing strictly for Sauger and said that they were amazing fish to eat. Ive never even saw one.

also guys...what techniques would your go with this afternnon and tomorrow morning? any help is appreciated as brianwhite and myself are still rookies trying to learn how to fish

well guys we are gonna give it a shot this afternoon. Cant wait to turn these kids loose for Thanksgiving break so I can get out on the water, they are about to drive me crazy in this class room. COME ON FISH BITE

Thanks Also any suggestions on where we should try this weekend....We are wanting to expand are areas, we typically just launch at JP Coleman and fish Indian Creek and We sometimes launch at Scruggs bridge and fish yellow creek....

Partner that I usually fish with. Hes picking me up in baldywn about 1:30 friday and we are heading up. Gonna fish for a while then try to find us a hotel room! I'll ask if he minds fishing 3 deep

I cant wait to get back to pickwick...I really want to get on some smallies...I caught several during the spring and summer and all Ive heard is how great the fall fishing is and how great the smallmouth bite is...Ive yet to see...I just must not be doing something right lol

great pics man! I went satruday and the fog on the lake was terrible until about 9...made it hard to make any runs, we didnt do very good but in all it was a good time. We fished indian creek most of the day

I have been told by several people that the shad are about to move into shallow coves and pockets and that in about 2 more weeks the fish will be in shallow water and it will provide some of the best fall fishing the country has to offer....any truth to this?

either of you guys wanna take a rookie and show him how to catch some bass on pickwick? I just started bass fishing on big waters this year and I fell in love with pickwick, I honestly just dont know what I am doing, I am still trying to learn how to catch fish on big lakes and waters...If either of you guys ever need a partner, keep this rookie in mind. haha

Ive spent all summer fishing pickwick and falling in love with it, but I still only catch 8-10 fish everytime I go and I am constantly hearing of people catching big numbers and big fish at pickwick. Would any of you veterans be willing to take a young rookie out a few times and teach him and give him pointers?

Im new to fishing big waters, but I have fallen in love with pickwick this summer. My fishing partner and I are still trying to learn how to catch fish on pickwick. I've heard that the fall fishing is about to really heat up and that the fish are moving into some of the shallow coves. We usually unload the boat at JP Coleman...any suggestions or tips for us on fall fishing at pickwick around that area?
