  1. Thanks guys, I did double check the bulbs and replaced them just to be sure. The truck does have a small black adapter box that they installed with the hitch. A guy told me those little black boxes go bad pretty often and usually give the type of problem I am having. The box is $20 and seems easy too replace, so I will start there. If that doesn't work it is off to wally world for a new lighting kit!
  2. I have a problem on my trailer lights. The running lights work fine but the right turn and brake light do not work. I have checked as much of the wiring as I can see. It is a regular flat 4 pin connector hooked up to my 97 nissan pathfinder. I tried a 4pin tester on it and it shows the led lighting up from the truck side for each operation. I am not real good at electrical stuff so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  3. I am in the process of shopping for a new trolling motor for my bass boat. I need 12 volt foot control for a 16 foot fiberglass bassboat. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  4. I usually fish alone. It gives me time to think and fish the way I like. Sometimes a friend will come, but then I feel I must do and go where he wants. My wife and son will sometimes come with, but the wife doesn't fish and my son is still young and impatient. I hope someday he will love it like myself. Fishing alone seems to work best. It would be nice to have someone with if you ever run into trouble on the water though.
  5. Personally, I have grown up with this as the world record bass. My father started me fishing when I was very young and I remember hearing about this record. I think you have to remember the times. 1932 was a very simple time when people had to work together and everyone knew each other. No one locked their doors and crime was hardly known. Mr. Perry was trying to catch some dinner for his family. He caught a very large fish and was as proud as any of us would have been. So he showed it off to several people and even had it weighed. He was not after any record and was not trying to cheat anybody. In fact, he probably was talked into submitting his catch. To me, it stands as legit. There are many things in life you just have to believe and and trust in without pictures or proof. Maybe it was a striper or some kind of hybrid, but to me, as a guy who loves this sport, it is the world record until a bigger one is certified by current standards. Say what you want this just my personal feelings. Thanks.
  6. I saw that show and it also made me sick. We have come along way in catch and release, but that shows we also have along way to go. IMO, bass fishing is a true american sport and is growing and we need to educate people (especially the young) on the need for catch and release and the need to keep the water systems clean. I do not feel we know enough on which size to keep and what to release. I have seen some fisheries devestated by certain slot limits and size limits that were supposed to improve the fishing. If you want some fish for dinner, take some light tackle and catch panfish. This can be great sport. They are over abundant everywhere, reproduce like rabbits, and taste better than bass, or better yet support some american workers and buy some fillets at a local market. IMO, killing bass in todays world is unnecessary and does not make sense. To do it just because we used to years ago is very shallow thinking. Many things used to be done in this country that proved to be wrong and were changed to provide a better future for all. I release all bass as quickly and as unharmed as possible so my son and future anglers my also experience this great sport.
