  1. I will fish for bass early in the morning from (5am) until 8-9am, then either go grocery shopping with wife and kids. Or my wife will give me a bio-weekly to do list...
  2. Bait monkey?
  3. Nice kit, take it out and have some fun
  4. JigMe replied to slonezp's topic in Everything Else
I still using a flip phone, does that mean I'm 60 years old? Lol, I'm joking.
  5. Used to luv Senko and still using it, but now I am a NorthStar Jig Fan...it works! It nothing is happening, I will tie on a finesse Jig with baby craw and usually gets me a fish or two.
  6. I dont think TW sells them...are you sure you bought the right worms?
  7. Top water, then I switch to plastics.
  8. Man, I have used a bag of senko under 2 hours. My avarage is probably 2-3 hard baits per trip, and half bag of plastics.
  9. I will Golf once a month with my boss, but fish almost every week, putting a small “ball” into the hole is not really fun…LOL
  10. I started using braided line myself this year, and bought a spool of Power pro 50lb for top water. The casting distance is no differ than mono, and I don't use leader.
  11. Regular price for senko is 7.99? Bite it trick stick goes for 2.75 for a package of 10.
  12. Welcome Sean. I am also from Howard County, and fish local lakes often.
  13. I was one of the lucky winners to receive free bait from Bite it, and those are good baits. First of all, I waited four months before writing this review on the trick stick. My review will consist of three parts, weight, durable, and action. 1. Weight: So far, I have rigged the trick stick with 2/0 wacky hook, 3/0, and 4/0 EWG offset hook. And it is definitely heavier than senko, it “tricked” me for the first few cast. Because the fall rates are different between Bite it and Senko, so it is sinking much faster. Few times, I though it was a bite but I can really feel the worm on the other end of my line. It took me few casts to get comfortable with the bait, since I always use Senko. 2. Durability: If I rig it wacky style with O-ring, one worm will last me 8-9 fish before replacement. With T-rig on EWG offset hook, it requires a new worm after 2-3 Bass. I found the durability is a bit better than Senko, that’s my personal opinion. I have lost a few fighting with bass, and few ripped off after a hard hook set. Overall, it is pretty durable. 3. Action: In many instances, I will cast to a position spot that holds bass. I will let it sit completely still, or twitch back to shore or boat. I can feel the nibble, but I have missed a few fish. The fish might not be in an aggressive mood, but I did catch a few. The worms are very slimy, and scent does stay around for a while. The worm is very soft and smooth, and I felt it is softer than Senko. Overall, I would keep a few packs in my tackle box, since I use this style of worms often. I am very comfortable with the bait now, and it is a great choice. Personally, I prefer Bite it over senko at deeper water since it is heavier (sinks faster). One recommendation I can say about the trick tick, is that there is not an option for 4”. During a tough day, I prefer a smaller presentation. P.S. this is my personal opinion. I have attached two pictures, and first one 3.06lb and second one is 2.6lb. They were both caught using Bite it trick stick, and I was pitching into weed pockets.
  14. Interestly, extended warranty is to extended your current warranty for 7 years. I got quoted 2400 dollars by a salesman, but when I went into the dealership today after work. Ourisman VW at maryland gives me a totally different quote, 7 years for 3400 dollars. So I asked for their finance manger, and she gives me even a higher quote for 4049 dollars. I just got up, and kept on walking...no way in hell I'm buying another German car.
  15. It just says 7 years, 80k extended warranty. When I asked the salesman, he said 7yr 80k...no kidding, I can read the paper myself! There are nowhere no the agreement from VW dealership says: extended for or extended to... I was hoping for extended for 7 years, because they want 2400 dollars for it.
  16. My wife drives a 2008 VW, and our factory warrenty just ended. We got the option to extend the warrenty for 7 years 80k miles, but confused on what is really tell me and the salesman from VW wont give me a clear answer. We had a 5 year 50k factory warrenty, so if I purchase the 7 year 80k miles extended warrenty. Does that mean, my warrenty will be extended for 7 more years which will end in the year of 2019? Or does that mean, they will extend my 5 year to a 7 year which ends in 2 years? I never had the need to purchase extended warrenties, my d**n VW hits the repair shop every 6-7k miles and luckily everything is covered under warrenty.
  17. Senko 4” and 5” Northstar sorted Jigs & matching trailer (swimming & pitching) Baby rage craw Terminal tackles
  18. I have been using Pline Halo for spinning setup, and seaguar for BC.
  19. Had the same problems with bluegills, or perch trying to get a piece of my plastics. But now, I have upgraded to a larger bait. Bluegills are leaving me alone, and catching better quality fish but less bites.
  20. GYCB, zoom, rage tail. Not in any order, they have produced for me. If I had to choose one, then I'm going with zoom. Because it's fairly cheap, and it works.
  21. Went to my local lake this morning, and picked up 9 bass from 6am-10am. Most of them were under a lb, and this is the biggest one I have picked up today. Looks like a 2lber, maybe. Most of them were caught on weightless senkos, and zoom trick worms. But I caught the biggest one today using a Northstar swim Jig/zoom grub.
  22. x2. I like both wacky and T-rig. I used to fish way too fast with T-rig weightless or pegged, and now I have learned to slow down quiet a bit. Some days I get more bites on wacky, and other days T-rig is doing the job. Keep fishing, and the Bass will tell you what they want.
  23. It is hard enough to catch spawning bass, I will throw whatever until somebody starts to bite then stick with it.
  24. x 10, I have found swim Jig with a matching trailer does the magic for me.
