was this with the butt end completely screwed out? I'm curious as to how durable this extendable end is. But I am definitely interested in hearing more impressions from people who have used these. Yes, the butt was completely screwed out. I dont care much for the butt, it appears to be rough like stasher said.

I have actually held one at the fishing expo this weekend, and it appears to be tip heavy. The rod is well built, and light.

Ever tried fishing that weightless with 2/0 hook? I caught few fishes that way, but not sure if it's a good way to fish the craw.

I don't buy many new lures to stock my Plano boxes, because the old stuff still works. So there isn't a need to change, unless the fish stop biting then I will just use whatever I am using now.

Does anyone use a Abu Garcia Soron SX and STX, I checked the company web site and the write ups were pretty much the same. Except for the amount of bearings. Is it worth paying the extra for the STX?

well, I will work a spot for a while if no fish then I will try a senko. If no bite, then I will move on to the next spot.

I agree. If nothing is biting then I will tie on a senko, but most of the time I just fish Zoom trick or finesse worms.
