  1. Just made a trade on the is site for a great top water rod, and am very pleased with the characteristics. Its an older Shimano Compare 7` MH Mod. This thing is great for my spooks
  2. I use a Chronarch200E7.
  3. I know you were joking, no worries, I'm used to it, lol.
  4. And if the fish swallows the Alka Seltzer? I wonder if it has the same effect that it does on ducks? Lol
  5. Well, I don't throw cranks too often down here. When I comes to it, say tournament fishing, my everyday combo becomes my crank setup. Basically a Curado50E on a Compare MHF rod with 12# YoZuri. I can sling any crank with it, and have full confidence in the strength of the line.
  6. Looks like your getting a difference of opinions here. I would go with the professionals point of view......
  7. Why would he look silly? I would wear a jersey that had BPS, Shimano, Zoom, YoZuri, Power Pro, and other stuff that I use on it. Who cares? Its what I like, and everyone else can blow off! What is the company gonna do? Complain about free advertising? Don't listen to these fools kid, do what you want, fish naked if you want to, whatever makes you happy.
  8. Its not gonna happen overnight. Over a years use it will take its toll on the brake drum.If you have never seen this happen, well than people are maintaining their stufff right. Jst remember its common physics, its friction, friction causes damage, lube eases friction, proper lube less damage.
  9. Thanks for the offer. I have contacted YoZuri about gettting 2 spools, lets see what they say.
  10. LOL, Ive never really paid attention to it, but I do think they have a few rods.
  11. It keeps the brakes from having too much friction, in turn scorching the metal and plastic, and causing damage to the parts.
  12. Haha, just caught that. Very clever!
  13. Im not a fan of micro guides either. Just a weight saving gimmick if you ask me.
  14. All day, any day down here.
  15. Is that the one you lost and snagged months down the road.
  16. CiticaE, Sell us 6'8 MHXF 40# braid.
  17. Well if your referring to best methods for each person, mine would be a T Rigged lizard. If I take a 6" Zoom Watermelon red lizard and rig it with a 5/0 EWG and a 1/16 oz weight, I can fish just about any way. Swim it, skip it, bottom it, flip it, pitch it, hop it, etc.
  18. Haha, I was gonna joke and say me, but you guys already got it. ROTFLMAO.
  19. I'm close to you in Springs, welcome.
  20. Its an eBay store. Don't do eBay or PayPal due to credit card fraud.
  21. Well that's good to know. I had seen on another salt fishing forum that someone mentioned they discontinued. If they are indeed still making it, then I will have to continue my search.
  22. So in my searching I have found out that yoZuri no longer produces 600yd spools of green line. All the ones that you may find are the ones that were produced before the discontinuation. Thought some of you might like to know. They only currently produce the 600yd spools in clear.
