  1. Whatevers not rediculously priced.
  2. Never happen. Shimano makes Shimano. If Shimano made it, it wouldnt have problems, lol.
  3. Just keep it upright, and not falling on the ground. Mine stand in the corner of a closet until tourney time.
  4. Black/blue. Green/brown. Green/black. Pumpkin/black.
  5. Sounds pretty good to me. You also have to consider that different regions will require different styles of fishing. The only thing is the 20# fluoro for deep cranks, you want a thinner line to get deeper.
  6. People down here fish the waters in the middle of the off ramp loops.
  7. I put all the soft plastics in a gallon size freezer Ziploc bag, in their original packages. Just use different gal bags for different style plastics, and label them with a Sharpie.
  8. They both have their place in Bass fishing. I like spinning with finesse fishing, which I recently have started experimenting with. Its not to say that you cant finesse fish with a baitcaster, but it is easier with a spinning rig. Casting into the wind is also a lot easier with a spinner. Flipping, pitching, skipping, etc can all be done using a baitcaster, but the users skill will make it easier to do. As for light baits, it can be done with the right baitcaster that is designed for that. My preference is a baitcaster, due to I feel I have more control. With the right baitcaster you will enjoy fishing one, but prepare to spend $125-$175.
  9. Well, for punching real heavy stuff, I have a Curado200E7 on a Sellus Flipping stick, and 50# Power Pro, and a 1 1/2oz weight to a Gambler Jig. For flipping around and under docks or cover, I have a Chronarch200E7 on a Sellus MH Worm and Jig, and 50# Power Pro, a 5/0 hook with a 1/4oz weight pegged. Usually with the Jig I use a craw style trailer, like a Gambler Mega Daddy. With the flipping docks setup, a Gambler Whynot, or an Ugly Otter.
  10. You don't oil mag brakes. I usualyy drop 1 drop of oil on each side of the bearing, and then spin the bearing on a pencil tip for a few minutes to work the oil in. Make sure before you reoil, you flush the bearings first. Excess oil, wipes off with the fingers.
  11. Get the Pro qualifier instead. Better reel.
  12. Chew up whole sheets of paper and use it for big spit balls!
  13. Haven't used one, but checked them out at BPs the other day, I think they look and feel better. I have a M V1, and I think they are great rods for the money.
  14. Zoom products for plastics is the best deal for me. Hard baits I load up when there is good sales.
  15. 30# Power Pro, 12# YoZuri leader.
  16. Light lures like that are usually used on an UL setup, with 2-6# line.
  17. Carbon lite. That rod seems better to me.
  18. U the leader, wrap the braid.
  19. YoZuri is where its at. I find the 12# to be my happy median.
  20. I would recommend a Shimano rod, but that would be wrong to put a Lews on it, lol.
  21. I still have my kit from 1995, lol, or whenever they first introduced them.
  22. I never started fishing slow until I got my Shimano Sienna 2500 form NAFC. Lately I have been trialing different slow uses. Today I caught 32 fish in 3hrs doing a little slow style fishing. Spinning rigs deffinately help to get you to slow down your presentation. I personally like using a brush hog, or a little ultra vibe craw. You really just have to get out there and practice trying to slow yourself down. It takes time to slow doen, trust me, lol.
